•DB MAX Power Roshi.
•Random encounter. In character. Energies equalized. Who wins and why??
This topic is locked from further discussion.
@corruptionz: He is slower than Bang and definitely physically inferior and doesn’t have the durability to take a hit. Bang one-shots. In OG DB people were impressed by wall-room level physicals and durability. Roshi’ full power Kameha is way out of the league of the physical or durability or standard attack level of DB.
@nwname: roshi and krillin having an extended fight in a fraction of a second is better than any feats bang has which all require scaling to quantify.
Can you show bangs best striking feat?
Roshi has several ways to handle bang, most notably he can just paralyze him with his electricity technique and kill him with any manner of ki attacks.
@skrskr: Having a fight in less than a second is nothing compared to Garou' reflecting minigun bullets that were only several inches apart and Atomic Samurai cutting lightning.
His best striking is his combined attack with Bomb that stopped Elder Centipede and broke its shell. He also made a large crater without directly hitting the ground while holding back to nit kill Garou.
All of his Ki attacks except full power Kamehameha are far weaker than Genos' blasts. They are nothing special and Roshi gets statued.
@corruptionz: that’s not legit moon buster tho no one in Dragon Ball when Goku was a kid was legit moon buster until DBZ when Goku is a adult and has a son fighting Raditz
Because of anti-feats of course like a character explicitly stronger than Roshi (king Piccolo) blowing up a city at full power and then afterwards sweating and also being shocked that Goku could have survived the explosion.
Oh and that was a rejuvenated youth restored King Piccolo, even against the older and weaker King Piccolo Roshi literally said Shenron was their only hope. And stood no chance against him so instead d using his buff form Roshi used the mafuba sealing jar.
Moon feat is laughable. That would mean Roshi was the strongest person in Dragonball part 1. Yet was so impressed with piccolo and goku’s Powers at 23rd Budokai and they were only small country level.
@nwname: debatable, because we don’t know how may bullets Garou deflected. He wasn’t deflecting them one by one he was deflecting them in large sweeps and swings.
Idk how you are scaling AS to bang in speed, bang being ranked higher doesn’t mean he is 100% faster as ranks have to due with popularity also. So unless you have something saying bang is faster that doesn’t scale.
This isn’t something he can achieve on his own, that technique specially combines both brothers style in a specific way to create shockwaves that travel all over the targets body and isn’t comparable at all to anything bang does on his own, again you can’t scale this.
Roshi is in max form in this fight which means his khamehameha will be in max form, also in max form even no named blasts would dwarf anything Genos has accomplished because techniques don’t matter as much as the power being put into them do. Regardless roshi one shots him with any blast because bang has 0 energy durability feats that matter.
You haven’t provided any combat speed feat that would allow bang to statue roshi, just scaling to AS without any evidence for said scaling.
Also did this lightning come from a cloud? If it’s from a monster you have to prove it moves at the same speed as lightning.
@corruptionz: Right and it’s a Outlier. If you knew how outliers work you would know that. Roshi was beat by someone who could only destroy cities. That moon feat was a gag Outlier Akira Toriyama in general alaways has characters in dr slump slapping or cracking the phone with rocks and telephone line sticks. So either the moon has crap durability in Dragonball or Roshi feat of destroying it is pure Outlier. And we’ve all agreed to the ladder of it being Outlier for Roshi. Besides moon feat would put him same level as beginning of Z piccolo, Goku, and Raditz in Dragonball z and that’s just hilarious to think so.
@cromulor: he destroyed a part of the city casually but it took his full powered blast later to destroy the city entirely a city+ feat and he was sweating afterwards
Roshi was scared of a even weaker king piccolo and had to use mafuba jar which was a suicide technique instead of using his max power buff form. And Roshi can sense Power Levels so obviously he knew there was nothing he could do to KP even in old form. And in the anime they fought briefly and Old form KP was slapping Roshi around laughing. This is before he even got his power and youth restored by the Dragonballs.
@bluelantern1996: it’s not a gag feat at all, if you read the manga it’s not set up to be a gag feat at all.
Base roshi had a power level of 139 the piccolo that one shot the moon had a power level of 322.
Max roshi is significantly above 139 so it’s not impossible for him to blow up the moon.
Also dc size does not always equate potency in DB, characters 100,000’s of times more powerful than piccolo when he blew up the moon create smaller but more potent explosions all the time.
So with actual numbers roshi moon busting is not an outlier, do better research next time.
@skrskr: Power Levels are non linear and not good to judge and bring into debates do better research man
King Piccolo max power attack was only City Level and he sweating afterwards meaning it wasn’t casual. If he could destroy a moon the energy required to nuke a city wouldn’t even phase him in the least or take a toll on his energy
Piccolo in 23rd Budokai full power attack was only small country level as it covered entire papaya island
Roshi is weaker than both piccolos and lost to king Piccolo so moon feat is actually absurd for him since both piccolos before DBZ only showed city to small country level attack potency at best.
In 23rd Budokai everyone is amazed that piccolo can cause such a large energy explosion over the island. If they were moon level they wouldn’t be surprised at all by his feat.
Max Power Roshi would be the strongest in Dragonball if we went with your logic which is very false.
I remember even Roshi said he wouldn’t be able to take out entire red ribbon army, but yet Kid Goku did. This is a man that can destroy moons in your logic, but can’t destroy a army ?
Power levels are inconsistent, vague, and not useable in debates. I mean i thought every DBZ fan knew this when debating. How do you have 4,000 posts and don’t know that lol
If Roshi was moon level then Kid Goku, Tien, Piccolo Jr, and all the high tiers in Dragonball would be Moon Level too lol I can’t seriously see kid Goku having power to destroy the moon man just stop wanking
In Broly new movie spider creatures have a power level of over 800. By your logic these creatures could destroy the moon. Yajirobi has a power level over 700 he’d also be able to nuke the moon right ? A farmer is 5 and Goku is 10 in pilaf saga but yet can tank an axe to the head. A person that has twice the durability of even a trained athlete wouldn’t be able to tank an axe to the head or survive barrages of gunfire like Kid Goku and kid krillin did before training with Roshi.
@bluelantern1996: power levels before the end of namek are 100% viable in scaling power.
Your entire argument revolves around KP showing city level aoe when like I’ve already stated there are 100’s of examples of people putting out way more energy than the attack piccolo used to blow up the moon and not destroying anything close to the size of them moon.
Just because he showed city level aoe doesn’t mean it contained city level AP, by your logic everyone post moon busting piccolo that hasn’t shown aoe bigger than moon busting is weaker than him.
Which is wrong, your argument about monsters and Yajirobi makes 0 sense because they have 0 energy projection we’ve seen physicals in DB have always been well below energy attacks even beerus has only shown planetary striking when his energy attacks dwarf this by a long shot.
So Yajirobi is physically comparable to someone who has a power level around his but lacks the energy manipulation to be anywhere comparable to someone who knows energy manipulation.
Piccolo with a power level of 322 vaped the moon with 0 charge up, everyone else you listed was within 100 in terms of power level or at least relatively close. It’s not out of the ordinary for roshi at max power which would be above 180 with a charged khamehameha could reach power levels approaching 322 when we know charging a move raises your power level significantly like when piccolo jumped from 408 to 1330 just from charging his special beam cannon.
You haven’t provided a single instance that can’t be explained through context.
@skrskr: I’m not reading all that shit
King Piccolo is only city level and has been ONLY city level for the past 10 years before you even knew what anime was. Stop wanking
You brining in vague nonlinear Power Levels make this even worse. A true debater doesn’t bring in power levels in debates.
@skrskr: because dude your pissing me off
I already said king Piccolo used his full power attack to nuke a city and was sweating afterwards if he was Moon Level that attack wouldn’t even phase him.
King Piccolo has been city level for like 2 decades way before you were born. Stop wanking. Seriously it’s annoying.
@bluelantern1996: so counter the argument I presented, there are many examples of AP not matching DC and roshi jumping from 180-322 by charging an attack isn’t ridiculous especially considering piccolo jumped from 408-1330 charging his.
Power levels are 100% viable pre end of namek, it doesn’t matter how you feel about them when you can’t counter my argument.
@skrskr: They aren’t consistent and only in Raditz fight have they been shown to multiple power that much.
If attacks multiplied all the time Goku could’ve killed Cell with his instant Kamehameha. In DBZ SSJ2 is only twice as strong as SSJ1. Meaning Goku could’ve made an attack that would’ve been bigger than him transforming into SSJ2. See why it doesn’t make sense ?
SSJ Goku on Namek attacks would’ve been higher than 150,000,000 times 2 would’ve been 300,000,000.
Also on Namek you have characters tanking attacks from fighters that aren’t even twice as strong as them.
By your logic
King Piccolo- 260
Max attack- 520
Max attack- 2,400
Max attack- 15,000
Max attack- 16,000
Max attack- 36,000
Max attack- 80,000
All of those multipliers are big BS
Vegeta at 30,000 full power attack didn’t even hurt Recoome who’s around 40,000+
Power levels aren’t useable stop with this crap king Piccolo is only city level
Imagine if people used Power Levels in DBZ. Get that “This person has a power level of this so they obviously beat this verse” crap outta here.
