Who wins
Bane has 1/3 of a venom canister
Takes place in New York on a bridge
Bloodlust off
Bane has prep
Luke beats him like he stole his baby.
A guy who can lift 25 tons vs a guy who lifts 2 maybe 3.Riiiiight.
This is classic Luke Cage, who lifts 3 tons, not modern version.

Well Bane mostly goes for bone breaking than piercing and if he has comparable strength then he could inflict severe damage.@entropy_aegis said:

Better scans of classic Luke:
Strong enough to knock the Thing through a wall:
Cage wins regardless of the version or time period used.
If it's classic Cage, Bane wins, current Cage, Bane breaks.
How does he beat classic Cage?
@progenitor said:Someone said that classic Luke was 3 tons. The scans you posted clearly show him to be above that by a large margin or was classic Thing also weak?If it's classic Cage, Bane wins, current Cage, Bane breaks. How does he beat classic Cage?

I'm not really sure. Everyone said that he was weaker but if he was able to do that to Grimm then I don't see it. The scans were from some of Luke's earliest appearances in the early 70s. I know classic Thing was around 5 tons but not sure for Luke's classic levels.

That's true.

Bane is a far better fighter than Luke.
But Luke still wins.
The Thing was alot weaker when this happened.
Better scans of classic Luke:
Strong enough to knock the Thing through a wall:
Cage period.
By the way, Ben Grimm was NOT the Thing at the time. He had been depowered and was wearing a 'Thing' exoskeleton which was only a fraction of his strength when the fight with Cage occurred.
Cage had also been written as much stronger than 3 tons. That Marvel Universe entry was virtually an insult but it is what it is.
The THing was only 5 tons in the early 60's. He was most likely around 50-75 class for most of the late 60's to the early 80's.
