Bane Vs Buffy

Battle takes place in an abandoned warehouse .
Both combatants are unarmed .
They start off from 20 feet apart .
Fight won through K.O or Death .
Bane has Venom 
Venom has the same strength as Buffy
TV and comic versions of Buffy
It is a random encounter .

@BTVS:  Well if he has the same strength now (which I assume would include durability) this fight is a lot close. Its essentially a little woman vs a giant monster lol. Bane should be able to knock out Buffy. Then again, Buffy would be like Spider-Man to Bane. I dont think he has bullet dodging feats so Buffy could dance around him and wear him down. Also, skill wise, I would say Buffy is a notch or two above Bane.....but it shouldnt be so far off to make a real difference...So its basically Size vs Speed  If Buffy plays it smart and keeps her distance, while utilizing her speed, she should win majority.....but its a close one...

I think Buffy would put up more of a fight than a lot of people would expect. She's got a bit of experience fighting opponents that are vastly superior to her on a physical level. Still, I'd peg Bane for the win. Physicality aside, I'd have to give him an edge in overall skill, and he's a lot smarter than he looks.

Yeah not mention sheis alot stronger then Bane but then the problem is Bane is a lot more skilled fighter than buffy. Its Skills vs Strength in this counter, Buffy wins 3/10 in my opinion.

Comic Buffy is faster, stronger, and more durable than Bane. There's nothing to debate here Buffy stomps.

More durable is debatable. Bane has taken multiple bullets without flinching, and survived a Kryptonian level punch that went right through him. And he's beaten opponents faster and stronger than him before, because he's smarter and more skilled.

I dont think this is Super Buffy, and besides, the OP said that venom gives Bane equal strength to Buffy ( a hint that he really wouldnt be as strong as her without it)

And I would like people to give me reasons why Bane is more skilled, because unlike Buffy, he isnt among the top martial artist in his universe.

Also, Bane may be a much smarter person tactics and prep wise but his battle smarts pale in comparison to Buffys.

- Faith: Fellow Slayer, and almost equal to Buffy, except much more ruthless

- Angel: 200+ year old vampire. Actually spent a good chunk of that time training hence why is one of the most skilled vampires on the show

- Spike: 120+ year old vampire. Has beaten Angel once and has killed 2 slayers

- Riley and the initiative soldiers: All pretty much homages to Captain America. They were Super Soldiers who hunted demons.

- Glory: Hell God. While not much of a fighter she vastly out classed Buffy in everything.

- Caleb: Same as above but only in the strength department

- Dracula: One of the most dangerous vampires in the Buffy universe

- Slayers: Girls like Buffy yet Buffy is still stronger and skilled enough to take on multiple at a time

Bane is not in league with the top martial artist in his universe, yet Buffy is so I think its safer to assume, even with the trouble of cross universe battles, that she is more skilled than him.

• Faith has beaten Buffy, in the body swap episode and Buffy only beat her in Graduation Day because she used that dagger.
• Beating Angel is not impressive, since Kendra, the weakest slayer managed to kick his a$$ and so did Faith
• Spike is an ok fighter, can't really remember much about him.
  
• Riley and the soldiers were pathetic fighters and Buffy even said she was holding back against Riley when they were training because she was afraid of hurting him.
• Glory kicked the crap out of her and Buffy had extreme help to beat her in the last episode.
• Only beat Caleb with that Scythe thing.
• The only thing that makes Dracula stand out from the rest of those is his teleporting ability and Buffy only beat him by outsmarting him.
• Of course she's more skilled than the other slayers. She's had more experience than them.

Ok, but he is still a couple notches below Batman. Thinking about it, I would say that they are at least equal skill wise because I personally dont think Buffy is as skilled as Batman. Definitely on the same level but not better than or equal to. However, If I did have to chose who is more skilled, even if slightly, I would pick Buffy.

She also has the experience advantage.

Well, they were only human. In the comics its much easier to translate skill

2. All I remember is that Kendra was beating on him like he was a regular vampire.
   
3. Why mention Riley and the soldiers at all? Someone like Huntress could haveprobably beaten them.
   
4. The only time I remember she was able to hang with Glory was when Willow attacked her for attacking Tara. I remember Glory saying something in one of the episodes at the end of the season like she was holding back against Buffy and she could have crushed her like a bug if she wanted. She was speaking the truth because she could have just speed blitzed Buffy like she did to those warriors.
5. It does discredit the feat, if she lost every fight she had with Caleb before she had the Scythe.

1. They where pretty even but if you watch this fight again you see that from certain point Buffy geined upper hand - dagger was only finishing move.

2. So you have rusted memories - Kendra surprised Angel, kicked him when he was interrogating Willy and Angel don't even want to fight her.

3. No, she can't. Riley Finn and his team where enhanced humans with commando training and energy weapons trained to fight demons. Yet, Buffy beat down Initiative team in less than half minute.

4. So, again you have rusted memories. For example look at her first encounter with Glory in No Place Like Home. She shrugged off Glory's attacks so strong, that sent her flying across the room and crashing her into wall so hard that wall cracked. She wanted to fight on, but she saw the injured monk, took him, and with him jump through a plate glass window, fell down from few stories high,landing on the ground and letting her body take the brunt of the fall. And after all of this she looked liked this - her only injuries:

5. If you remember that she outmaneuvered Celeb during her second fight in the vineyard. He couldn't lay hand on her, so she didn't loost every fight with him, before she got Scythe. She can do this same with Bane.

6. Dracula in BTVS - mind control, shapeshifting, ability to turn into mist, controlling weather, over 500 years of experience and unatural strengh. Bane have only last of this abilities.

I'd say Bane takes the victory against TV Buffy. He's beaten and routinely holds his own against individuals with far more proven ability then what Buffy deals with, Buffy's H2H talents are questionable, more so down to the shows fight choreographing which didn't exactly represent individuals as masterful warriors that would be seen in DC comics.

I'm less familiar with comic Buffy, so I can't call it.

Doesn't comic Buffy have some ridiculous feats?
