I don't think that Mama soul powers were explained but if they work like he life stealing powers, the condition would be fear(?), I'd side with Ban, given that for him is way easier ending her than the contrary.

No, but only if they can't catch him. Soul based attacks were showed has the only way to "kill" him and he didn't show any resistance against it. Maybe Ban trained and now as a counter for it, after facing it once, but we have no idea.

For the fight, it depends on how Mama actually manipulates souls, if she can force them out and doing it while fighting, and if she can catch Ban, thing I don't believe will happen since this is moral off Ban.

Ban blitzes and a rips out her heart

Big Mom needs to show active use of her DF in fights. Currently all we have seen in combat from her is armament haki, foreign threat elbaf spear using napoleon, and using Prometheus and Zeus( zeus let's her fly and Prometheus drops the heat) so she could job around with him but at the end of the day it comes down to her soul stealing which we need more of. She isn't fit for this battle atm imo

Do the clouds count as standard gear for BM

@darthsenju: napoleon, Zeus, and Prometheus are all homies made from her soul and as far as we know they have been by her side for as long as she has had the soul fruit. I would assume they would be with her as seen in the newest chapter they kind of make her that much more dangerous as a yonkou

Big mom absolutely stomps, shes far more versatile and has a solid stat advantage. Big Mom would literally eat him.

He can steal all her stats, or at least enough to become stronger than her, and simply beat her to death. Eating him will kill her... you know Ban his immortal, he will just regenerate inside her.

Also a moral off Ban start with Zero sign and hunter fest, Mama can't deal with that.

BM has shown enough combat feats, shes physical superior to gear for luffy and as a child she was strong enough to one shot a top tier elbaf giant. She can use zeus for flight while prometheus and napleon let her attack from a distance.

The advantage ban has is that he doesnt fear death so she cant steal his sole

Ban can't die... he is a true immortal, the only way would be effecting his soul, but she can't do it without fear or feats.

well yeah.. but they are contradictory... coz it wasn't like 'it was close.. but i feel like this person should win' .. it was more like.. this person will 'stomp' (and both pointed to a different person for the stomp).

Ban not only because she has no way to kill him but because he is versatile enough to end it before she even realizes its over. Fox hunt.

@ssj_god: awh well in case I wasn't clear, with feats only I say Ban however I do think BM will be capable next few chapters if we see her soul steal and see how it works thus far I can only think of opera getting instantly killed from her fruit. I do not think lightning, flames, a sword, or haki will help here she needs her fruit but we haven't seen enough of it

Even at his most, Ban could only absorb half of base Galan's power. Galan's mountain-level feats aren't even in base. So Ban could logically absorb something like mountain level power.

Big Mom on the other hand, is blatantly above mountain level, via hype if nothing else.

Even if Ban Tries to steal her heart, we've established that he can rip parts away from people with enough durability and she has that critical threshold.

It'll take some time, but once Ban realizes that he's outmatched, he'll get nervous. At that point, Big Mom has got him and can absorb his soul.

Ban couldn't penetrate Estarossa's skin to steal his heart, he's not doing it to BM

Wasn't even talking about Estarossa. He tried to rip out Grey Demon Henricksan's arm, but couldn't do anything more then dislocate it.

Gray Demon Henricksan was mountain-level at best. Big Mom's heart would be infinitely harder to rip out.

i said win by any means. which is, to render your opponent unable to fight back, whether it is death, incap, bfr, ko, doesn't matter.

I think Mama's durability is high enough to resist any body snatching shenanigans from Ban, If I am not wrong, it failed twice, once against Hendi and the other against Estarossa, so it proves that sufficient physical durability can counter the ability.

@kingguinness: Mama's physical strength is way beyond the paygrade of Hunter Fest.

Big Mom has no means of killing him. Ban steals her stats and then beats her down gruesomely.

@neogx45: She has more than enough strength to KO him in 1 hit. Mama is well above what Hunter Fest can comfortably steal. Not to mention Ban can't maintain it indefinitely anyway.

I can see this go either way.

Ban easily. He's taken punches and and sapped power from a BOS Mel, who has better strength feats than Big Mom. He's also immortal and can regen from her attacks.

He is probably going to argue that breaking out of the Baste Dungeon puts Mel at multi mountain lvl or something.
