It seems the fighting styles of the original avatar characters have been watered down in the generation that legend of kora takes place in.

Either of the fire nation royals takes out Zaheer and Tenzin gets overwhelmed

Depends Tenzin is MVP and Zaheer without flight a pretty weak link.

If Azula fights Zaheer wins team 1, cause she beats him faster than Tenzin Zuko.

If Tenzin fights Azula becomes it tougher and could go either way.

In an actual group fight could it also go either way, team 1 has more firepower(literally :D) but team 2 Tenzin.

So Azula and Zuko should win the majority.

Team 1 wins in a good fight.

Azula and Zuko win, it is a tough fight because of Tenzin.

Team 2 with Tenzin MVP. Zuko can't take Zaheer imo.

Tenzin is the strongest and Zaheer the weakest here, Azula and Zuko have obviously better teamwork and Azula's ruthlesness in combination with being the second strongest is another good advantage(at least is it not Kemurikage Azula, cause that would be rly just unfair).

Hm. Tenzin is the best here imo. It kinda depends on the matchups. Azula would take out Zaheer pretty quickly, then it would be a 2-on-1, which favors the Fire siblings. If it's the other way around with Zuko fighting Zaheer, then it's basically a toss up.

Airbenders with high difficulty

Firebenders in a pretty nice fight.

Zaheer solo, with an airbubbles on their head.
Not like he dodges their lightning bending (which he, of course, does, but....) they don't even make it unleashing their fire bending moves when their air starts being drained.

I can see this fight going either way to be honest.

Zaheer is a tier or so below anyone here, whereas Azula can give Tenzin an amazing fight.

I think team 2 is more evasive but team 1 may be more skilled overall, I'm not sure

I say still this, Zaheer w/o Flight just drags Tenzin too much down.

Zaheer is seriously underrated, he can take down Zuko without much trouble while Tenzin deals with Azula. Airbenders take this.

Airbenders. Tenzin is too much for either sibling.

Azula and Zuko for the majority. Azula has impressively blocked and dodged Aang's airbending on several occasions, as well as kept up with/been ahead of him in speed and agility - some instances without the aid of bending. Tenzin's strengths are his incredible defenses, but I see Azula winning in the end with lightning in a great match. Zuko can handle Zaheer. Zaheer has good durability but so does Zuko and he doesn't really have anything to fully put him down. Also Zuko has experience fighting airbenders more agile than him.

We see Tenzin who has decades more experience in airbending and Zaheer who is a genius airbender versus some brats who are great but not on the level of a master. Sorry but this is a mismatch and team 2 win with mid to high level difficulty.

Zaheer is capable of beating or stalemating Zuko, and Tenzin can definitely beat either. Airbenders win, although the firebenders get a minority due to superior lethality.

Zuko is a weak link tbh, he’s always struggled against airbenders (and Tenzin is better than Aang was (due to more experience and age))

I want to say team air because Zaheer and Tenzin are bamf, mostly Zaheer, but I'd prolly side with Azula and Zuko.

I'd say that Azula can beat Zaheer, the weakest of the bunch, faster than Tenzin beats Zuko. Then Tenzin is double teamed and I don't see him beating both of them.

I think Tenzin>Azula/Zuko>Zaheer, so could go either way

I might lean towards the airbenders slightly, kinda depends on how well Zaheer does against the siblings. I can see him doing rather well (which is why I see Tenzin beating either sibling), even if he might not ultimately win. I don’t think he’s the weak link some here were making him out to be, though having only one season of feats does put him at a bit of a disadvantage

Siblings take this. Zaheer is the weaklink. Either of the siblings can beat Zaheer down, while the other holds off Tenzin. Tenzin gets ganged up later.

Fire duo IMO

Azula and Zuko win. Azula is relative to Tenzin and both siblings can beat Zaheer.
