So this is basically Katara, Kya, Aang, Pakku, Korra, and Unalaq vs. Zuko, Azula, Ozai, Iroh, Sozin, and Iroh II.

I would back the firebenders in R1; the waterbenders in R2; and the waterbenders again in R3. Although Sozin's Comet is a much bigger amp than the Full Moon, the North Pole allows the waterbenders to take the firebenders out via environmental manipulation.

Firebenders win round 1 due to higher average, waterbenders win round 2 for the same reason, round 3 is a clean sweep because Sozin’s comet is a massive boost that the north pole cannot objectively come close, atleast against this tier.

Waterbenders 1 and 2.

Fire round 3, the comet is too much.

R1) Ozai beats anyone in Team Water, albeit high-diff against Korra and Katara.

Iroh and Azula at least contend with the best of Team Water, and can defeat everyone else.

Sozin imo has anyone upto Pakku and Pre-SF Unalaq's level beat.

Even Zuko and Iroh II still surpass Kya and Water Aang.

Overall, Team Fire has the notably better average - both at its highest and lowest ends - so I see them winning.

R2) Now, the average tilts to Team Water's favor.

While Post-SF Unalaq is still a bit below Ozai for me, Unalaq, Katara and Korra are overall a stronger trio than Ozai, Iroh and Azula on average. That imo is overall better than Team Fire's wins in the lower tiers.

R3) Firebenders take it again, but far more decisively than before; the SC is just much better an amp.

Unalaq, Katara and Korra alone take this in a low diff fight
