Atlantean soldier vs Asgardian soldier

These aren’t gods or royalty but the average of their kind. Fight takes place at the wakandan cliff top/waterfall. No armor, only weapon is a gladius for each. Fight til the death, who wins?

We have not seen Atlanteans fight outside their armor so we cannot say anything about them.

Asguardians. They are capable of casually backhanding grown men 20 feet. A group for them can probably take down enhanced Elves with team work. They may not be as strong as Kurds but they should be in the same ballpark as Thor if not at the very least Loki.

Asgardians stomp.

We didn't see Atlanteans fight without their armor.Without armor and only gladius as weapon Asgardians should take it.

With full gear i think Atlantean soldiers are better.

Hmm Atlanteans with their powersuit were able to run through concrete like it's made out of styrofoam. The're atlantean tech are better than shields and spears, and if they want to go miedival, atlantean soldiers are proven to be great swordsmen, when they fought arthur on that sunken ship. Oh and did I say Atlantean soldiers standard weaponry are better than standard issued Asgardian soldiers weapon?

character 2 wins simply b/c character 2 is stronger than character 1. It is a close match however.

@eatmore_payless: dark elves had much better tech than either, but Asgard still overwhelmed them. They only did as well as they did in invading Asgard through the element of surprise. Average Asgardians seem to have the edge in physics stats while Atlanteans have ranged handheld weapons. It depends on if the blasts can hurt an Asgardian enough before the shooter gets run through by an Asgardians weapon (which sometimes glow a little indicating modification for higher damage and/or durability). It's not like they have black hole grenades that ignore most durability.

@emanresu_20: No way in hell are average Asguardians NEAR Thor in strength. Thor has demonstrated Hulk level strength and even Loki is shown as far superior to regular Asguardians. Loki was able to match a holding back Thor blow for blow (pre-Ragnarok) and even gain the upper hand in places. This alone places him far above regular Asguardians.

That said, I still think the Asguardians slaughter here.

These “fodder” Atlantean solders took out aquaman when they met under Atlantis in the old city. They should take this.

Agaurdian soldiers are literally fodderized or in hiding in all of their showings.

We have no idea how strong Atlanteans are without the suits to really compare.

With the suits I think it could go either way. Maybe leaning toward Asgardians. But once the Atlanteans get their guns I feel they have a solid advantage.

Atlanteans due to feats

Atlanteans wins due their superior stats and actual few feats, the asgardian soldiers who should be epic warrior seems like random foes with fancy armors, not counting the "Warrior Three" friends of Thor that seems to be also god related in the comics and were the elite of the elite among asgardians.

Asgardian and it’s a stomp. Bulletproof and at least a 5 tonner.

Asgardians on land, Atlanteans underwater. A few Asgardians can bring down a Kurse and the Asgardians overwhelmed dark elves despite the reach disadvantage. Atlanteans on land weren't any more dangerous than dark elves. It's harder to deal with black hole grenades than power punches capable of taking down Aquaman. But underwater, Atlanteans gain a significant mobility advantage while Asgardians may drown or be very uncomfortable.

Asgardian soldier more often then not. Their shield can deflect blasts from the Dark Elves and their weapon can kill a Kursed soldier.
