Anyone from Samurai 8 verse lacks the durability to survive a single sword swing from either Ichigo or Aizen. Not to mention, they lack the combat/reaction speed to keep up with either Ichigo or Aizen.
You do know that a weaker version of Ata crossed a galaxy in like a day right?
That's travel/fly speed which doesn't translate into their actual combat/reaction speed.
Ata was cutting the asteroids in front of him while flying at those speeds, thus making it a reaction/combat feat as well.
Was he really? He had the sword in front of him while he was cutting those asteroids as if he knew the asteroids were in front of him making it easy for him to cut through them, it's more of an aim-dodging rather than him actually reacting to those asteroids.
His sword was at his side while he was flying, and he talked about how annoying the asteroids were meaning he did see and react to them.
Where does it show Ata cutting the asteroid? It looked like he either bulldoze through the asteroid or his sword cut through the asteroid for him. Just because he notice the asteroid, doesn't mean he didn't suddenly slow down after he felt the impact. If Ata was reacting to the asteroid, then he wouldn't have crashed into the moon the way he did.
We know Ata cut the asteroid because he has his sword in his hand. Also Ata ran into the moon on purpose so it would destroy the planet. We know this because after running into the moon he stops and uses Silent Slash to cut it in half while also stopping it from falling. Ata himself also says that was his intention in a later chapter. I will try and find the scans.
Then why didn't the moon not turned to dust because of how fast he was flying towards it and when he crash landed on the moon? Mass x Acceleration = Force, unless you are telling me that he slowed down just to cut the moon, then this just further proves that Samurai 8 verse has terrible combat/reaction speed.
The moon did not turn into dust because it is fiction. We are talking about a story with space samurai that use their souls as weapons, of course somethings will not make sense. Also Ata did stop when he got to the middle of the moon.
