Batman is a fighting type so he's 2x effective against Ash who's normal type.

But even then Ash's defense might be too much.

Well it's basically a Boy version of Harley Quinn without any combat experience aside from using random powered animals and few random punching vs a highly trained/experienced ninja at peak level called Batman.

That strength feat aka the log one is insane for a preteen boy, but many human athletes from real life could do the same thing with larger logs (Scottish caber toss), and Batman is beyond any of them even out of armor/suit. Maybe with the Pokemon could win, but he's not beating Bruce Wayne in a fistfight nor anything in general in a one vs one battle.

Bruce already has beaten up a lot of foes who used sheer brute force and has a lot of strength like killer croc,solomon grundy and clayface who would make Ash Ketchum look like an ant in terms of every single feat.

Wow. Batman. The answer is Batman.

I remember Satoshi having some impressive durability feats.

Well, to make a case for Ash, being able to tank electric attacks comprising many volts without any apparent harm and being able to carry Pokemon that weigh an obscene amount has to count for something.

Ash has the strength advantage and maybe a durability advantage. That's it.

Batman stomps.

Blocks his Monferno's flame wheel in its tracks while it's under the effect of blaze, which greatly increases its fire power.

While being strangled by Hunter J's Drapion, kicks it in the eye so hard that it's forced to drop him.Note that this Drapion could no sell a thunderbolt from Pikachu.Knocks over the bars of a makeshift prison with his shoudler

Changes the direction of a runaway truck by pulling on it

Manages to intercept Venasuars vine whip attack while coming from a long distance away. Note that he starts running after the attack has already begun.

Moves fast enough to run along a wall barefoot

Runs down the side of a cliff and leaps into the air to catch Pikachu.

Takes a jab to the chest by a wild Beedrill, and these Beedrill can jab through what is described as solid metal

Slams face first into a cliff, falls several feet, and gets back upSent flying by a explosion created by Hunter J's Drapion and Salamance, and is fine just a minute later. For reference, J's Salamance can blast apart pillars of ice, stone, and steel.

Maybe Ash should start to fight alongside his pokemon.

I had no idea Ash was such a badass. That said, Batman wins.

I forgot about some of these and looking back Ash's physicals are impressive, but I'm still going with Batman due to the massive skill advantage he has.

@jashugan: He wins because not only does he have a massive skill advantage over Ash, but you also gave him his utility belt which gives him more versatility. Also the people that defeat Batman with pure physicals are the likes of Bane, Killer Croc, etc. All of them are people that would stomp Ash with relatively little difficulty, the gap in physicals between them and Batman is greater than the gap between Ash and Batman.

Ash casually carries a 60kg Pokemon on his head and a 70kg Pokemon in his hands. He is probably somewhere in Captain America's league in strength.

With all that said and done, Batman still wins effortlessly.

I can't with this. This is hilarious, but Ash Ketchum has the toonforce in a show directed towards younger kids. When he "died" in the first Pokemon movie it was pure hax and no gore.

Batman finishes this with an armbar and a tranq dart.

If we are basing that these Strength feats and durability feats of Ash are not just gag feats then a case can be made for Ash actually.

Even with all his training and equipment, Batman will lose since Ash has higher durability than most Pokémon in the show

And has a scary raw power and speed

He still gets blitzed, but he’s definitely no slouch.

This is probably the only thing he has.

Musashi/Jessie was hit in the face with one once.

I know Ash daily survives thunders and flamethrowers that explode planes and bust buildings but honestly he is no fighter, he is slow and clumsy as hell. No way he beats a well rounded killing machine such as Bruce. Batman has plenty superhuman feats too you know.

@thoromdil: mostly not building lvl, other than movies pikachu (at the show he is much weaker), but Ash blocked without damage attacks from blades, fire, ice, electricity, brute strength, poison, all kind of energy manipulation and those attack were far beyond anything Batman can throw at him

He also fast enough to ran on walls for short time and doge flying attack, and strong enough to knock down metal bars (than his Pokémon can’t break lol)+ he think Batman stole pikachu so he is blood lust and as long as he isn’t knocked out he will keep on fighting

His only problem here is his lack of experience in h2h

But i don’t see Batman go through his durability
