Are the characters that can't fly overrated?

I mean, everybody here thinks that Juggernaut or Hulk are incredibly powerful.However, this characters can't fly, so, wouldn't they be in a massive disadvantage?.It would be easy to BFR them or to destroy the battlefield and they couldn't do nothing because thay can't FLY.

I guess I doesn’t hurt them that much because most of the flier they fight (e.g. Thor Andy Superman) are primarily melee fighters and so they don’t dont ally abuse them over rated range advantage.

@geeman2: I think that when Darkseid beat Superman for example that's PIS.The speed of Superman is too much for Darkseid, although he might be stronger or more durable.

Most characters who can't fly get over that disadvantage by jumping like hulk aquaman saitama ect so it's hardly an issue 4 them

Darkseid has superseed and can fly/levitate at fast speed so Superman can't overpower him with speed easily. I do get what you are saying though, characters like Mongul is a high tier brick who can give Superman issues despite the fact Mongul gets destroyed by characters like Flash and Light ray due to lack of maneuverability.

A guy that can't fly, yet is by far the most powerful character in his universe.

But to answer your question it's actually the other way around. Flying certainly has it's advantages but it's almost always meaningless in the comics and even in the battle forums. Hulk and Juggernaut specifically have walked all over some of the flying characters from the comics, in fact over entire teams of them. And flying is generally useless in a fight outside of trying to fly someone for a BFR, which is a way more dangerous form of BFR then just trying to punch someone a long distance for a BFR, because take Gladiator and Hulk as an example, when Gladiator tried to fly Hulk into space he got his head thunderclapped.

So you didn't exactly discover warm water, guys like Hulk and Juggernaut would be mostly helpless if you BFR them, but a lot of people don't consider that a real win since it doesn't tell you who is more powerful or who can put who down with their own power, so it's usually restricted in the forums.

Well thats why they balance the characters abilities. hulk is very strong and he would be too op if he could fly. Iron man is not strong, he's just a mere human. Though he can fly and also uses his smarts to his advantage to fight these opponents
