Are the Battle Forums going Downhill?

Well I have been on Comicvine for a month now.  The battle threads don't seem as good as they use to be.  Now I see such one sided threads that just make me want to log off and take a nap.  Sometimes I wonder where is King Saturn with one of his good battles.

I remember the first battle thread I went in it was good.

I really liked that battle thread.  But I hope it doesn't get bumped lol.

Now I see threads like

Anti Moniter vs Superman

While we know that the Spectre could not even take him down what chance does Superman have.

Or why can't we have fun debates.  To tell the truth some people on this site or fun to debate with.

Here is a list

• The Human Juggernaut- He is fun to debate with even though he uses your words against you.
• Vance Astro- Another person who is fun to debate against makes very good points.
• King Saturn- Makes good points also.
• The Man of Yesteryear- Makes good points to fun to debate against.

king Saturn usually makes good battles that i look forward to seeing, but i agree with tek. i've been here for nearly 2 years and its the same

I don't think people even care anymore.There is alot of noobs in there.The people we all rate as the top debaters don't even debate anymore.I just debated with Gambler the other day but I hadn't seen him in battle forums in a while.I have no idea where Pania or Apparition are.TheCreator was here pass their dissapearing act but he's not here anymore and Buckshot posts like once in a blue moon and the same with Methos.

Also alot of the battles are either obvious curbstomps that people won't let go or repetitive.People hold on to characters.One person made a Gladiator battle...next thing you know...there's 4.It was the same with Daredevil,Wolverine,She-Hulk,and Sabretooth.The threads and the debaters are getting stale.Including myself.My debating skill has gone down.I have been arguing with so many noobs I get caught off guard by good points.There's too much lack of reasoning and common comic book knowledge in the forums and that's where the conflict is.I get extremely frustrated when someone wastes my time posting and argument that is complete stupid.

That's my problem also..I just made a battle that got completely ignored because the characters aren't popular."

Off course they will it is pure logic that a good thread will not die and i most say a good battle post is need now.

But it does seem like theres less people than there used to be.

But the battles are still fun debate.

I know, I look at threads from a year ago, and they're all pretty good and argumented, now it's bitching, calling names and spaming...

I think what he means by you using words against people.You take what someone says..than you say "by your logic" *insert something completely ridiculous and random*.You basically skew someone's point a view and make a simile out of it.
