Well...people beat Arceus with a variety of pokemon and caught him in a pokeball...so...

arceus only lot because he didnt have the electrisity plate.

Arceus has 0 combat feats on the level of his creation feats and almost died to a large meteor.

Comic Thanos stomps, Movie thanos is stomped

If Arceus is given all his plates he is a universal reality warper, given he created the embodiments of space and time, and created the pokemon universe.

Getting caught by a master ball and almost dying to a meteor doesn’t matter cause he didn’t have all the plates. If you want to go that route, Movie thanos lost to a bunch of street levelers

Didn't Arceus have all the plates (aside from the Fairy One, cause that didn't exist) before the meteor hit Arceus?

Anyways, going by implication from the bonus episode of Pokemon Explorers of Sky, Arceus can stabilize collapsing timelines that would erase even Dialga, but that still doesn't compare to Comic IG Thanos.

The anime and the games are separate continuities. The meteor showing doesn't apply one way or the other unless you are specifically debating about the anime's version of Arceus, otherwise it is like trying to apply MCU showings to Thanos.

The Masterball has a 100 percent catch rate. The Manga should be ashamed of itself for downplaying the masterball. No Pokemon should be able to escape the masterball, not even Arceus. The games are the original canon. There was a time when Pokemon was good...back in Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3. After that...silly megas (copying Digimon), primals and dynamaxes got in the way.
