on a beach.
aquaman vs scorpion
On a beach aquaman has the advantage But Scorpion can just teleport him to the Neatherealm before the fight even starts. I'll go with Scorpion 6/10
@doom_phd: Can Aquaman survive being dropped in hellfire?
No.
Scorpion 10/10.
Let's take out the immortality factor and BFR.
Aquaman stomps.
Now, adding the first two means Hanzo keeps coming back, that, alongside dimension dumping SpongeBob into the Neatherealm, which is a cheeseball move.
Scorpion is better at h2h, but all it takes is one high tonner haymaker to catch hellboy and he goes down.
@dre_savage: Cheesy move or not, Scorpion wins.
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: And now I'm set. Aquaman has more than just strength, durability, speed, reflexes, and other assortment of powers that far outclass Scorpion and can easily take Scorpion down. Not to mention his Trident defending against Scorpion's swords. I'm certain even Aquaman's magical Water Hand can counter Scorpion's Hellfire. Scorpion can teleport? Sure. Let's see him do that while submerged as Aquaman just, you know, hops back into the ocean.
Water hand grants teleportation as well
@doom_phd: That's right. It gave him more than teleportation, though. Which is a huge advantage. Plus, Aquaman with the Clear power? Yeah. Overkill. Scorpion won't survive.
@dark_cloud_: Still all those abilities and stats will be nullified once Scorpion simply drops him into the deep bowels of the Netherrealm. Also, if Aquaman does get a good shot on Scorps, he could just teleport himself to the Netherrealm. Where the longer he stays the stronger he gets, I believe.
Yeah but people typically take BFR out for that simple fact.
With that logic, Nightcrawler can beat WBH, Lobo, Black Bolt, etc.
@dre_savage: OP hasn't stated no BFR.
So for now I side with Scorpion.
How did people figure out what Scorpion the OP was even talking about? I assumed it was the Spiderman villain.
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: Teleporting him to Netherrealm doesn't instantly nullify any of his abilities, only degrade them. Besides, it's not even a BFR, because Scorpion teleporting someone to the Netherrealm doesn't instantly kill them, either. Not only that, Scorpion doesn't always do that nor is it always advantageous for him, because he can still be defeated and his opponent returned to where they previously were. If Aquaman gets a good one shot on Scorpion, as you say, he couldn't teleport because he'd be too crippled. Scorpion does possess enough pain reception and flesh to be fazed like other Mortal Kombat characters. You're overrating him.
@dark_cloud_: Teleporting Aquaman won't kill him, but dropping him in hellfire will.
And Scorpion rarely does that because it would violate the rules of Mortal Kombat.
And it doesn't take much to teleporter away, no matter how hurt he is.
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: Whether Hellfire would kill him is arguable, as Aquaman has survived being struck by Amazo's Heat Vision (said to be on-par with Superman's) as well as Starro's powerful energy blasts. So, for Scorpion to resort to dropping him as he does it rarely is out-of-character for him; Scorpion does possess a degree of honor to him, like he showed Sub-Zero in MK9 (story mode). As far as I'm aware, Scorpion can still be knocked out or incapacitated despite his biology.
@dark_cloud_: If Scorpion dropped him in hellfire, he would drown in it.
And he wouldn't be able to get out.
I'm sure if he truly wants to obliterate Aquaman, he would drop him.
He showed the younger Subby honour because there was no use in killing this Sub-Zero ase he was not his brother. He teleported Bi-Han (The original Sub-Zero) to the Netherrealm. He didn't drop him in the hellfire because that would break the rules of MK.
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: Remember, Scorpion isn't aware of Aquaman's powers or weaknesses, so he's not going to know how to take Aquaman down without fighting him first. Scorpion will be amazed that his opponent is so far beyond him in almost every category that he's going to have to bring out his more aggressive moves. Neither are even bloodlusted. Why wouldn't he be able to get out, and why would Aquaman drown in it? If Scorpion were to drop him into the Hellfire, despite being an out-of-character attack, I believe Aquaman is durable to the point that he can survive Amazo's Heat Vision, he'd also have luck climbing out of the Hellfire - to Scorpion's dismay. Honestly, Aquaman just has too much power under his belt to lose to someone like Scorpion - he is part of the Justice League for a reason.
@dark_cloud_: Aquaman isn't aware of Scorpions abilities either.
And we have to realize Scorpion can imbue his hands and feet with hellfire and Aquaman will drown in the lava pits of the Netherrealm, eachtime hes injured he may teleport back to the Netherrealm then take a breather. Even if, and this is very unlikely, Aquaman climbs out of the hell-lava (Which not only burns the body but burns the soul) he will be extremely weakened, allowing Scorpion to rip his head off pretty quickly.
Op is a lazy so and so and should be ashamed. Gonna roll with Spider-Man villain and say Aquaman one shots.
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: That's a very good point, my friend. However, Aquaman's durable body would be able to soak the damage caused by the lava. He has deflected Heat Vision as hot of the son, so lava won't be difficult. But attacking the soul thing, yes, that could be an issue. However, don't ignore his magical Water-Hand, which has been seen giving Superman a nice wallop. To be honest, I don't see Scorpion winning because of his honor and non-OoC actions - that, and the OP wasn't specific. Aquaman just has too much going for him.
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: aquaman swims in lava...and though im not sure which version water bearer Aquaman...negates magic...as that is its main purpose giving by the lady of the lake..it also used for healing in which aquaman can use to revive himself....not to mention it grants teleportation into a pocket dimension in which he can BFR scorpion...I would guess they would stalemate in that department...not to mention his tp attack his highly enhanced....he can control the shape and density of the hand and use for all types of stabbing and smashing weapons...this version of Arthur also has the trident poseidon...which can shoot energy beams from afar...add that to over the 100 thousand ton range of strength...hyper sonic speeds...and other truly achieving powers he has...I like aquaman chances...anyway...this is all Nil...sense scorpion magic base abilities will not work on Arthur due to his protection of socery base attacks granted by the water hand...
@dark_cloud_: This isn't ordinary lava.
Its Hell-Lava, which is kinda like what hellfire is to normal fire.
The time it takes for Aquaman to "swim" out of the hell lava his soul would be badly damaged while Scorps wouldn't be breaking a sweat. In character, Scorpion will most likely not drop him straight away, but he is faster.
And since its on a beach, couldn't Scorpion throw sand at his face, then proceed to let loose with punches and hellfire?
The only way I see Scorpion winning is dropping Arthur in the Netherrealm though.
And that Water hand will be a major pain in the ass for Scorps...
@ermac_wins_via_fatality: As far as the Hellfire goes, it's not goop, so it won't hold him in or make it challenging for him to exit. It'll just eat at his soul, and that can pose a problem. Other than that, it shouldn't do him much physical damage. We can agree that if Scorpion keeps him submerged, Aquaman would lose; but if he's not, he wins? I can manage a 50/50 for both based on those conditions. Mostly I blame the OP for not being specific on which Scorpion or the regulations of the match. Kind of sad, really.
@dark_cloud_: I agree, we need more details.
@dark_cloud_: magic and mystical base attack do not work on water hand Aquaman...it allows immunity to those type of attacks...
@myerlanski: I wasn't asking.
Op is a lazy so and so and should be ashamed. Gonna roll with Spider-Man villain and say Aquaman one shots.
You don't really know anything of Aquaman do you ?Lol
Aquaman one shots.
@doom_phd: Ugh.
Ja, Aquaman would win a straight up fight, but Hanzo could just teleport him to the Netherrealm and leave him there for all eternity.
You don't really know anything of Scorpion do you ?Lol
Scorpion wins.
And what exactly the Netherrealm would do to someone who has practically faced superior magic?
Aquaman is the guy who tanked a continental level attack. Water hand he can practically nullify the hellfire because it is powered by a superior source than what Scorpion is on.
Lol
@doom_phd: He could leave him there for all eternity, with no way to get out.
Lol
