How does the ancient mutant fair in these scenarios:
1. vs Midnighter, who's had 24hrs prep reading up on the big A and battles him in the desolate island of Genosha.
2. vs Apollo in a random encounter on the far/dark side of the moon in Apocs old homebase.
3. vs Apollo & Midnighter in a radom encounter for the duo after Apoc's had 12hrs of prep to read up on them for his battle.
No doors in any battle.
vs
and/then
Apocalyps vs .......
"Just have to give some people some time to get around to all the battles. Lol. I think Apocalypse can win round one but gets crushed in the second two. "
O.K. what do you think of these scenarios:
Apocalypse takes all three. They progressively get slightly more difficult, but not enough to make much of a difference overall.
1. He could take Midnighter through simple H2H if he wanted. He can catch people just as fast, and is pliable enough to possibly throw off Midnighter's scenarios. If that doesn't work, he still has energy projection, TP, and TK. Besides what Apocalypse can do, there's the matter of Midnighter not being able to do much of anything to hurt him. It would take Apocalypse being at his absolute worst to lose here, and even then it's not very likely.
2. Apollo really shouldn't be too big of a deal. Even a charged Apollo IMO is not that much stronger than a hydrated Namor, who Apocalypse has dealt with through 1 of his henchmen. Henchwoman, actually. Apocalypse can absorb his energy and use it to add to his own power, and if he adds enough mass (which doesn't require said energy), he'll end up stronger than Apollo very quickly. Again, if that fails, he has TP & TK to ensure he has Apollo where he wants him.
3. See 1 & 2, then put them together. It'll take a little longer, but there's no reason why taking them both on simultaneously would cause him to fail where fighting them separately wouldn't, especially if he now knows their abilities. He can take them out using the same attacks, and if all of it fails (it totally wouldn't), he can still BFR them to, at the very least, defeat them one at a time.
Maybe if I make it a full team, minus Jenny Quantum and the Doctor (unless it's the one that fought Lobo lol ), in a relatively smaller city, like New Orleans or Salt Lake City, and give Apocalypse his 12 hours of prep, and that should be a fun fight.
