@blitzsikes does Zamasu have his immortality/turning-into-a-universe thing?
@hashro44: lock this mismatch plz
Fused Zamasu is not Jiren level at all, not even close. Nevertheless, he stomps 17 badly, who was only around Black Arc SSJB tier and Zamasu has canonically stomped characters at that level.
@zill0678: Why do you think 17 wins?
Sets match to kill
Zamasu’s immortaity is still there, unless 17 is packing some major power to wipe out the entire timeline, he ain’t doing jack to him.
17 is weaker, by a significant amount. And he doesn’t have the advantage of potentially taking zamasu off guard like with Jiren because of his immortality
@alextheboss: 17 has time and again suprised and exceeded all expectations of him in the tournament of power. At the beginning of this I put him as a ssj3 or buu saga ultimate gohan level but with is face offs against both toppo and jiren I have to say he is goku ssb ToP level with infinite energy. You have to remember that jiren was blocking ssg level attacks with one finger and 17 has performed at par with ssb goku when he fought Jiren minus Kaio-ken if not better. Goku by himself overwhelmed merged zamasu attack with a kamehameha and he was injured. Baring zamasus immortality 17 has shown he can handle that level imao
@zill0678: 17 has no attack as strong as Goku's SSB kamehameha, which broke his arms, and this is the Zamasu thought fought Vegito. And Zamasu is immortal here, and even if he wasn't he is above SSB level.
@mike_fowler: didn't Zamasu lose immortality when he Fused ?
@blitzsikes: No, but it became imperfect.
@alextheboss: and what does that mean? What is imperfect immortality ? It means able to die right?
@blitzsikes: no, considering trunks destroying his body only allowed him to spread throughout the timeline/ earth (even crossing over into the other one if taking just the anime into account)
@blitzsikes: It isn't really specified. His regen wasn't perfect, but even after his body was destroyed he didn't die.
Zamasu with ease.
Zamasu is Jiren level.
17 gets slapped.
Nowhere close to jirens level.
@standardized: Contending with SSB Vegito and being outside his stomping range puts him on Jiren's level, yes. In fact, base Jiren might be inferior to Light of Justice Zamasu.

Contending? In the manga he got absolutely destroyed by vegito and in the anime he was still getting spanked. And goku has stated that jiren is the strongest opponent he's ever fought. And lol @ base jiren being weaker then light of justice zamasu.
@standardized: I'm referring to Anime Zamasu, when Zamasu still managed to clash with Vegito even though he was losing.
You do realize that Jiren being referred as the strongest opponent in history did not include Zamasu as those he surpassed and even then it was only his limit breaking form?
Fused Zamasu, its a no contest since SSB Vegito wasn't much stronger than Zamasu.
Except the one in the manga
@mrperfection: but 17 in the manga was only around ssj3 level, so it doesn't really matter.
Zamasu wins. 17 has no strategy to reliably beat someone like Zamasu on his own. His powerset is limited.
Goku and Vegeta got lucky in beating him and had a crap ton of help. 17 isn't doing shit.
Even Anime 17 gets stomped, as Zamasu at his peak disposed of SSB level Fighters at their Fresh Condition.
Immortality ain't needed here.
