Stops at 4, who I think should be above rounds 5-7 due to Scythe, Clones, Continuous Zenkai, etc.

He would clear 5-7, but definitely stops at SSJB KKx20.

@scotchbear: Both he and Android 18 confirmed he was just stalling for time. Frieza even pointed out that 17 was toying with Toppo.

17 will always defeat base Toppo. He did too well against Jiren and GoD Toppo for him not to be able too.

@oreoghoul: The Zenkai boosts aren't going to be a problem for 17. He'll pick up on it fast and try to end the fight even faster. The immortality is the real problem.

At the point he realizes it, it might be too late. But it is true that 17 will hold a stat advantage over him at first so he could pick up on it. Only way I see him ending it fast is with Self-Destruct so maybe, good point.

I thought only Zamasu had immortality not Goku Black

@oreoghoul: In the manga. Goku Black had immortality. The anime never outright said Goku Black didn't have it. So someone could argue the anime version has it too. Lol I was in a lengthy debate about this. Unless the OP states otherwise he's immortal. That's just the law of comicvine I guess.

Goku Black is still much much much weaker than TOP SSB. Vegeta as a SSB completely dismantled him before he fused in the anime. Against a fighter who has as much power as Android 17 and won't mess around. His Zenkai boosts and other techniques won't make a difference. The difference between Goku and 17. Is although while they both love to fight just as much. 17 is always trying to figure out a way to win. Goku is always trying to push both himself and his opponents.

Goku Black was 2v1-ing Goku and Vegeta after the Scythe + Clones shenanigans before fusing but I do agree that ToP SSB is stronger than it was during the Goku Black Arc (evident by Goku vs Hits rematch and other things)

Honestly 17 is being wanked way to much. He was losing a beam struggle majorly against Toppo and had to be saved by Frieza.

Glad the manga nerfed him to ssj3 level. In the manga goku can still one shot him casually as ssg.

I hate how the anime pooped all over ssb and ssg. They are useless in the anime. It didn’t prevent power creep either, because MUI Goku is so strong he could probably have solod the ToP if he had it from the start.

Manga has ssb as unreachable levels of power for anyone besides main villains and GoD level characters. And of course goku and vegeta

@oreoghoul: Vegeta could've still taken him 1v1. Goku just jumped in. Throughout the entire battle. After Vegeta entered the chamber. He did not have any trouble either Zamasu or Goku Black in 1v1 fights. He was shocked that the attack he dodged pretty casually had that much power behind it. But he still wasn't intimated by Goku Black in slightest. SSB Vegeta was clearly the most powerful solo fighter in Trunks timeline. That was just back then. SSB Goku and Vegeta are absolutely more powerful than they were during that arc at the start of the tournament of power. That doesn't even include their own various Zenkai boosts that they had throughout the tournament. SSB Vegeta or Goku in the Tournament of power. Especially Vegeta who was the only fighter that actually used the hyperbolic timechamber before the TOP. Would dominate his earlier version. Who dominated Goku Black.

Just because it's SSB. Doesn't mean the power is the same. It's like saying Namek Saga SSJ Goku is just as strong as Buu Saga SSJ Goku.

He was referring to 17's ki-blast not 17's power as a whole which is a huge difference.

That was Toppo's full-power charged against 17's non-charged beam he shot after Toppo released his. Even then he still matched it and was stalling. Frieza specifically says 17 was toying around...

Yeah non-charged. Toppo had time to charge, power up and release his entire energy while A17 was on the run and didn't have any time.

Yeah but Toppo had the advantage at first due to him powering up. Your also forgetting the fact that this was all of Toppo's power versus A17's limited power. He was struggling yeah but he was still not going all out, he was just stalling.

@jdogg: Goku was holding back and Gohan was just trying to intimidate Frieza, there is no proof he could actually win. Goku KO'd Gohan, while Frieza and Goku KO'd each other.

Frieza is an arrogant asshat, 17 will find some way to beat Frieza.

@alextheboss: Going SSBKK is far from holding back and the narrator already stated Gohan matched him in SSB. Goku never went SSBKK on Frieza as he would dominate him, and Gohan is pretty smart guy if he thought he couldn't take down Frieza he wouldn't have said it. He also did much better against Dyspo who was beating Frieza.

We still don't know how strong 17 is in the manga at full power. With every transformation Goku pulled out, 17 continued to overwhelm him. It was Goku who stopped the fight, clearly because he had seen enough. 17>SSJ3.

And 17 wasn't majorly losing the beam struggle against Toppo, or else he would have immediately been blasted off the edge. Toppo I agree did hold an advantage.
