Team 1 stomps. Obi-Wan and Anakin have years of teamwork experience and will have no problem taking down Reylo.

Prequel Duo is better in Sabers

Sequel Duo is better in The Force

Depends on who leverages their advantage quickest

If Team 2 decides to attack with the Force they should stomp with just movie feats. I can’t even really remember if they showed much telekinesis for the duo aside from like summoning small objects or sending Grevious flying.

Sequel chatacters have comparable saber feats and could stomp with the force

They have good statements in the Visual Dictionary, not sure if it counts for the purpose of this thread - Within the film, on paper they're next generation Imperial Guards and some of the best non force sensitive fighters in the galaxy.

Rey:

• Beats two guards at once - one with an electro whip the other with a double edged blade before training with Leia
  
• Deflects blasters from Palpatine's new Imperial guard from all angles. Uses the force to deflect some back at them with her bare hands like Vader-- (1) - (2)
  
• Reacts to Palpatine's force lightning

Kylo:

• Defeats Sith Worshippers defending Vader's castle, all the clone troopers he brought died with only him remaining
• Wrecks The Knights of Ren, battle experienced dark side users with little effort -- (1) - (2)
• Three of the Elite guards at once, decapitates one

wasn't trying to kill Rey in any of their fights, if you look at both he's fighting very defensively while Rey's on the offence drawing power from the dark side.

• Dodges a good deal of strikes from Rey before even igniting his saber
• Deflects all her attacks turning his back to her mid fight implying total control of the duel

Defeats her quickly once mounting an offensive, overwhelms her with her strength - loses because he was distracted by Leia's death.

Also pretty hard to beat them when they can directly halt lightsabers with the force

Kylo can also deflect lightsaber thrusts with his force barrier (confirmed in the novel)

ki adi lost immediately to about 6-8 clones/clone commanders. Rey defeated ~8 of the emperor's guard, who are significantly above your average clone. So we know Rey>Ki adi by a significant margin. Rey on her own is probably at least ROTS obi level. Ben is above rey, not only did he defeat her when he was Kylo, he possibly got a power boost when he turned to the light side. Ben is solidly at least dooku level. I personally think Ben ~ ROTJ luke, making him > ROTS anakin. Rey is >=obi, obi is her lower bound. overall team wins ~7/10

Idk how people still rag on sequels dueling feats. This is just movie feats guys you gotta only use the movie feats. And if we’re just using movie feats the sequel duo have comparable feats (mostly kylo from how he fodderized the knights of ren once he got the saber) and they have better force feats.

Sequel duo 9/10

Rey on her own has done nothing to put herself full canon ROTS Kenobi. Even if you want to argue she’s more powerful in the force, that doesn’t stop her from getting blitzed. And she’s not skilled enough in sabers to hang with Kenobi at all. Ben’s not Luke level, Ben gets stomped by ROTS Annie.

Anakin will be Rey's New daddy.

Obi-wan did held his own but that was against a mentally unstable Anakin. If Anakin was in the right frame of mind he would have killed Obi-wan.

Yeah this is pretty much fact, though it is still impressive on Obi-Wan's part.

Even with Anakin's conflict inside, team one should have the upper hand

I would go with Anakin and Obi-wan due to better teamwork, more experience, and probably better duelists overall. That being said, I could see the sequel duo giving them a run for their money.

@mygod000: Where are you getting Anakin>Sidious? Right in the movie Yoda said Sidious>Anakin, and Sidious said Vader "would become" more power than either of them, meaning he wasn't yet. If we go by Yoda's vision fight with Sidious in the CW, it was shown Anakin was basically fodder to Sidious, but this is movies only and that was a vision so it can't really be used here.

@samjackson: Obi has not done a single thing that puts him anywhere near Rey. His force TK is pathetic. Meanwhile, Rey is casually TKing space ships and one shotting with lightning and healing fatal wounds with wase

Rey didn’t “casually“ TK that shuttle, you visual see her straining and you hear her straining. The shuttle isn’t even that big, two Inquisitors performed the same feat. Lightning isn’t even something Rey can control or even knows how to use. Her best force sends people sliding a few feet back, meanwhile Obi is launching people back with enough force to crack concrete walls. And none of what you stated stops her from getting blitzed and dominated in CQC.

Yoda and Obi-wan knew how strong Anakin was, yet they both agreed Obi-wan had to go for Anakin because the emperor was too powerful. It doesn't get anymore clear than that.

Anakin potential with a few years under dark side would’ve been stronger but not episode 3 anakin who would still be wrecked by Sidious lightning at this time. He has raw power but his reflexes and force powers were still weaker than Yoda and Sidious at the time as well. Not to mention the most important thing: Anakin was still a Novice at using the Dark Side Of The Force and could not control his emotions, as he becomes too arrogant. Facing a way more experienced Sith Lord who has not only mastered his combat style but has spent a great time using the dark side force.

force Lighting only works on The Anakin that first Fought Dooku...not Mid Season Clone wars Anakin and clearly not going to work on ROTS Anakin.

Anakin at 23 was said to be more formidable than ROTS Sidious. That is the sole Reason Sidious wanted him on his team because he wants people more powerful than him to help him out.

Neither Rey or Kylo or tier 9 duelist, by that logic alone he loses to Anakin. Ben was like 29 or 30 years old when we see him in TROS. Rey, in The force Awakens is 19 when she was introduced and during TROS is about a year later.

none of them shown a massive gap in skills from where they were in the Last Jedi. Ben at 29 or 30 is far weaker than Anakin at 23, and had more experience with the Dark side since he had been using the Dark side for over a year to boost his powers up...while Anakin just started using the Dark side after Sidious and him "Killed" Mace Windu, then his power started shooting up to the point barely even a month later his power was above Sidious.

Anakin murders them...obi-wan is good enough to hold off Kylo while Anakin looks at Rey and Sense Sidious from her and just beheads her.
