@aystarr: (hope these are right.)
R1: Uhh... I guess Azula?
R2: Azula.
That... was veryy quick.
@amendment50: any reasons tho?
@amonfire1776: Just wondering what U'r opinion is..
Azula both rounds.
Azula both rounds.
Azula both rounds. Amon's H2H prowess was aided considerably by his hidden bloodbending, and he only has like a single solid waterbending feat.

Just say that amped feats count-then who?
Then definitely Amon.
People overhype characters that really dont need to be further hyped. I'm sticking with Amon R1 and Azula R2. Unless bloodbending is allowed R2.
@haikyuu444: Amon can always chi block her...it isn't like she's going to last long in this environment even with bending. Also did everyone ignore no bending at the top?
@indomitableregal: And Azula has done nothing h2h so she gets destroyed by him in that round...
Literally I can't think of one reason Azula wins round 1...not one reason. She is featless in h2h
Uh.. Beating the Kyoshi Warriors, holding off Aang, Toph and Sokka (granted had help from Dai Li, but still an impressive showing in agility and acrobatics)..

Exactly, amon stomps azula both rounds, 3 element korra, tenzin, team korra and all benders in the city were scared of amon without bednig, cant say even alf the sme for zula.
Amon wins the first round. It wouldn't be a stomp but he could replicate the same feats Azula had in pure hand to hand no problem. And has shown more advanced CQC techniques. The Kyoshi Warriors were good for their time. But their hand to hand isn't really all that special during Korra's era. The difference in hand to hand skill between Korra Era benders and Aang era benders alone on average is significant. Azula being able to hold her own against them doesn't put her above Amon.
Azula is like a top 5 firebender. She wins round 2.
@amonfire1776: what about r 2? imo he destroys her there as well, he's a master waterbender and can dodge her attacks.
@frijacks12345: He's a good waterbender. But I wouldn't even put him in top 10. He could be one of the best or even the best bloodbender. But who knows and he doesn't even have access to that in Round 2.
Azula is without a doubt a top 5 firebender. She wins that round.
Azula has more impressive agility feats than Amon. Even if you discount the hidden influence of bloodbending Azula is still more impressive than Amon when it comes to avoiding blows without bending imo, considering her performance against Toph and Aang. Neither has proper h2h feats. (maybe Azula has something from the comics? But otherwise.)
@amendment50: Just because we saw her use more agility than Amon. Doesn't mean she actually is more agile. There are plenty of agility feats of similar magnitudes that have been performed by characters below Amon.

Just say that amped feats count-then who?
Meaning if he can subtly influence her movements with bloodbending? Then Amon wins.
@indomitableregal: And Azula has done nothing h2h so she gets destroyed by him in that round...
And that's just false.
@mee09: Below Amon in this category based on what? It seems like you are applying scaling but I don’t know based on what. Amon got the better of Korra and Mako by outright bending at them. Lin got overwhelmed by people. IDK who else is meant to be comparable to Azula here

imo he's the best water and azula is no more than 7. i dont have much time so i should continue later if u dont mind.
@amendment50: On average the benders in Korra are a whole lot more skilled in H2H. The non-benders especially and funny enough I would bet that the Kyoshi Warriors and Amon are the reason for this.
With the named characters it is a bit more debatable. But I'm sure someone who is dedicated enough could make a good argument for the named characters around being better in pure H2H for Korra's gen. Bumi was a good hand to hand fight but that's only because of the Dai Li and him being close friends with Air Benders. However another god tier Earth Bender like Toph would be pretty trash in comparison. Azula might be good but she'd probably get destroyed by a serious Ty Lee in hand to hand. While I think Amon would have a much better shot. But they don't really fall under the "average" category.
The difference in hand to hand skill though with the fodder fighting benders and nonbenders is significant and very noticeable. There are fodder guys who can do just as many flips and somersaults as Azula. While the Fire Nation Soldiers were not capable of that.
@frijacks12345: He's not the best waterbender. Maybe the most accomplished bloodbender. But his waterbending isn't really anything special.
Katara and Korra are a lot better than him for example.
R1: Azula is more athletic, but Amon is also trained in H2H, plus he knows Chi-Blocking. Even if he just successfully gets One good block in her arm or leg, she loses. I actually back Amon here.
R2: We know almost nothing about Amon as a waterbender, while Azula has a mountain of top tier Firebending feats. Azula wins, no contest.

Yh, that's what I was aiming toward.
Azula obviously has more and better showings of hand to hand combat, but I'd honestly be surprised if a chi blocker of Amon's calibre couldn't win an unarmed fight with her, much moreso with the physical, or at least size advantage he has over a teenage Azula.
both rounds or is that just for 1?

No way to know how much Amon can do with his waterbending alone, so I cannot say for the second one.

oh true, yh, it's kinda like Ozai and the comet, they just don't have feats. How good do u think he is based on what we've seen?
@haikyuu444: I forgot about the whole infiltration of Ba Sing Se thing...
@byondeon: she beat them with bending not straight h2h...
@amonfire1776: She beat the Kyoshi Warriors in h2h. She only used fire once
@haikyuu444: I forgot about the whole infiltration of Ba Sing Se thing...
Wdym?
@byondeon: Wrong...she used firebending repeatedly and at least 5 times in that fight.
Azula fans are delusional...she can't do anything to Amon without her bending...round 2 she's out of her element (+ no lightning) but he lacks waterbending feats (unless the psychic bloodbending counts) I would think he would win if it means Amon with limited bloodbending+chi-blocking.
@amonfire1776: That is wrong
@byondeon: Objection! That claim is false and I have proof...https://youtu.be/r4aWMlTmif4

1 in the fight.. Yeah..
@byondeon: Can you count?..she firebent 5 times total...
@amonfire1776: Only 1 time in the actual fight
@byondeon: Do you mean at the very end because she didn't do anything without her bending either besides knock a sword aside.
