Both will have 10 years Prep Time...

The World will Unite as One...

America will be isolated for 10 years, no trades of anything from the outside.

American bases outside America will shutdown or be absorbed by the country they are on.

US Citizens will return to America, vice-versa foreigners will leave the US to return to their countries.

No Spying on each other, maybe after the 10 years Prep

Round 1: America attempts to conquer the World

Round 2: The World invades/destroys America

We would lose in both rounds. If you understand economics, than having no trade at all will severely hamper us in many ways that it'll effect our military capabilities. Plus, we do not have the manpower nor logistical capability to wage a war on every singe country on the world, especially if they're all allied against us. America is a very powerful country, but we aren't unstoppable.

@cooljammy18: If you have any understanding of economics you understand that no trade affects the rest of the world a lot more tha us.

America stomps. No way to invade. No way to isolate, and the U.S. is the most sustainable country on the planet by a long measure...we have EVERYTHING here.

There are not enough fighter craft in the world to gain air superiority over us, and there are not enough ships to force an entry past the u.s. Navy. You can google this question, and the answer is always the same...the U.S. wins or at worst is stalemated.

We cannot be invaded, and even if we cannot occupy the rest of the world, we can force a war of attrition which we stand every chance of winning.

In that decade Trump builds a Godzilla-sized, adamantium wall lined with AA guns and patrolled by star destroyers.

In round two he initiates his plan to build Trump Sentinels.

So you don't....gotcha.

Since you mention Google, you should probably use it and study other countries to understand why we are not an unstoppable juggernaunt that we like to believe. And please, I'm a member of the Armed Forces (Navy) and I'm speaking from my personal knowledge of our capabilities and weaknesses. Warfare is NOT that black and white as you're making it out to be. There are a lot countries with the ability to harm us and they have indeed done so many times before. Lots of our equipment and technology has been developed from other countries, Google this if you don't believe me, and without trade we will need to scramble to reintroduce factories to pump out supplies to maintain our arsenal. Yes, we can definitely beat a lot of countries, but a full out campaign against the whole world? I honestly don't think so.

Having the financial, logistical, and moral support to sustain multiple theaters around the world, stretching our Navy thin to protect our waters, ensuring that our ships are resupplied to continue to fight (btw, Russia and China have many subs that are on par with our own, and they can target supply ships) reintroducing the draft to gain a feasible reserve force to replenish our forces on the active front....the more you take all of these factors into consideration, the more likely it seems that we'll need a miracle to win, let alone "stomp" this match without the use of nuclear weapons. Your opinion is just not realistic at all, but by all means feel free to prove me wrong.

Second that, the idea that the US has any chance against the whole rest of the world is just insanely ridiculous and childish.

The 10 years makes it even far worse.

Without America, the World will actually destroy itself. If America isolated itself for even one day, Japan Korea and China will fight to the death, Russia will attack Europe, India will probably invade Japan. Middle East will fight Israel.

America's absence will ensure it's victory.

America has 13,444 total aircraft.

The World has a combined total of 36,867.

America's air force would get crushed.

America has

  • 19 Aircraft carriers
  • 6 Frigates
  • 62 Destroyers
  • 0 Corvettes
  • 75 Submarines
  • 13 Coastal Defence Craft
  • 11 Mine Warfare Craft

The World has

  • 15 Aircraft carriers
  • 390 Frigates
  • 320 Corvettes
  • 449 Submarines
  • 2,835 Coastal Dence Craft
  • 461 Mine Warfare Craft

America's Navy would get crushed.

We cannot be invaded, and even if we cannot occupy the rest of the world, we can force a war of attrition which we stand every chance of winning.

America would get crushed both rounds.

Also, Russia and China are the only real threats to USA. Africa simply dies after 5-10 years, Europe gets BTFO if they try to attack upfront, and anyone that tries to sneak in the country gets interrogated and killed, revealing valuable info about the enemy. Finally, the OP/TC says:

America will be isolated for 10 years, no trades of anything from the outside.

American bases outside America will shutdown or be absorbed by the country they are on.

US Citizens will return to America, vice-versa foreigners will leave the US to return to their countries.

Round 2: The World invades/destroys America

America. America. America.

We got not just the USA, but America in general helping us out and backing us up. The world can't even function without trade from North America, so South America would seal their fate. After 50 years, only a few countries would still be...countries. Africa would be gone, Asia would be gone (except Japan, China, and Korea), Europe would be doing pretty good, but still deteriorating rapidly. When America thinks the time is right, we'll attack Russia and have a very good chance of winning, and then the rest of the world is easy.

1800s: The French is coming!!

1940s: The Germans are coming!!

1970s: The Soviets are coming!!

2010s: The Chinese are coming!!

Yes, humans have liked to fight for a while, they have survived just fine - yes, there is a possibility that they may end up extinct, but the Inclusion or Exclusion of America isn't going to change that.

Since it is stated as "America" and not the US I actually think we could win we would have to do a lot of work building up Central and South America so they could be at a better level, but the world would have lots of issues because of the divide.

Stalemate because nukes, but assuming no M.A.D. I don't see how America could maintain a war on that many fronts. Fighting China and Russia at the same time would be problematic enough let alone the majority of NATO allies.
