Amazons (DCEU) vs Asgardians (MCU)

Is someone really trying to argue for the amazons? That is pretty funny

@macleen: they won't even be able to see the pilots. The only way they could would be to get up higher than the ships and they can't fly so that's not happening. They aren't harming the ships or the pilots.

The ships don't have to navigate through obstacles. They can fly which means they are above any obstacles. They lay down some fire causing the Amazonians to run out of hiding into the army waiting to cut them up.

The fight takes place on Themiscyra which is a small island, so arrows that, according to you, can go across continents isn't going to accomplish anything. And going into the clouds won't help since they can't penetrate the ships so just shooting the hull will accomplish nothing.

The Asgardians have more complete armor than the Amazonians. Some have their complete midsection exposed which is really poor armor design. That's free kills for the Asgardians.

The ships will literally be higher than the Amazonians can reach. They don't have to go low because they have ground support. They stay high and last down suppressive fire allowing the army to advance and incapacitate.

The Amazonians really don't have a chance at all.

@macleen: the airships wouldn't even have to go over land. They could stay over the beach and launch projectiles from there. They could easily destroy landmass to bring these so called mountains down around the Amazonians.

The Amazonians don't have any chance of sniping the pilots because they won't even be able to see where they are. They can't get up high enough to do so because the ships will easily pick them off as they attempt to scale higher ground.

The Amazonians will be forced into hiding and when the airships start destroying their hiding place they will be forced to either die in a cave in or be forced out to the waiting army and be carved up.

The Amazonians have way more exposed parts. It'll be easier for them to be pierced and gutted by the Asgardians than the other way around.

The airships won't have to fly low because they can just destroy landmass with their heavy artillery. The ground support will finish up any leftovers.

This invasion ends with either the Amazonians dead or their surrender. They have no chance to win here and can't even take down the airships.

Spotting the ships would be much easier than spotting the Amazons especially at home turf that is covered in forests.

Exposed parts doesn't matter when your opponent has accuracy and agility above you.

They do have solid chance at winning.

Asgard is a planet while Amazonian land is an island. Seems kinda unfair to me.

@macleen: destroying landmass would be easy. It's not special rock. Just regular landmass. They wouldn't even have to destroy the entire mountain, just hit it a few times with the airships and it'll cause a landslide.

The ships are easy to see but not the pilots. They can't get high enough to do any damage to the pilots. The airships never get taken down by the Amazonians.

Arrows won't do anything to the Asgardians. Metal bends on their skin and the arrow tips aren't made of any special metal unless you can prove it is.

The Amazonians surrender after a few minutes of battling the more superior Asgardian army. Or they die trying.

Advantages of Asgard: Much better tech ( pretty obvious ), possibly bullet proofness ( some her durability feats seems to be strong but some contradicts it ) so likely more durable, they have flying ships, ( amazons are weak to piercing weapons )

Amazons: By feats much greater metal weapons and wooden shields ( Themescirian wood is completely bullet and explosives proof ), much stronger ( breaks themescirian wood, 7 amazons can stop Steppenwolf who in some enchanced state overpowers Aquaman and Diana at once or lifting this massive falling rock barricade/wall or trades blows with not experienced/not adapted to her divinity Wonder Woman ), much more athlethic and skilled and mastered well martial arts and various weaponry usage ( too obvious ). Asgardians are weak to magic fire so theit magic arrows from JL movie could harm them easily

R1 could go either way. Each side wins the respective rounds with the field advantage.

I know this is a low showing but I see an asgardian no selling this all day. There seems to be a massive stat gap.

The Amazons are also outmatched in weaponry, and armor.

They did fight parademons but I think Asgardians have better physicals. Hopefully the Amazons get more feats in the future but for now Asgard wins.

Amazons might be stronger by on-screen feats considering two of them are able to lift a massive stone wall, or break massive wooden pillars in half by swinging big steel hammers. They're more agile and skilled too.

Real problem is the Asgardian's way better durability, only way the Amazons could win is if their weapons are durable enough to not shatter on them, so I;m thinking Asgardians are the more likely winners.

Base Asgardians are at least somewhat bulletproof and normal knifes/swords can't cut them. They also have armor. This makes long range of Amazons useless and Asgardians have much better weapons in close range. They also have 2 ships that can solo. Asgard stomps.
