The Military only has tools that were available to them at the timeline of the books (AKA The 70's)

All the people who died during the series are alive again.

Dark wizards and good wizards are on the same side. Morals off for wizards.

They can use any creature that is available near Hogwarts (AKA Forbidden Forest)

Whomping Willow is planted on the battlefield.

No Mandrakes.

Hogwarts wins. Illusion spells MVP.

The US army wipes Switzerland's neutral ass and horrible chocolate of the face of the earth with a barrage of nukes.

The Wizards and witches die in the blaze.

@sightlessreality: I decided to not put the battle in Hogwarts, since Muggle technology fails in hogwarts, and they can't see it anyway.

The Large Snake thing will probably cause like hundreds of deaths and thousands of paralysis but a few air to land missiles will wipe all of the wizards of the map.

@eliahparichitha: You think that Protego Horriblis thing that Flitwick put around the castle could hold a few air to land bombs? i think it could. Also, since there are a lot of charms that literally stop things in time, it would be hard to beat the wizards. i'm not saying wizards win, but it won't be a stomp.

@full123: I meant the wizard would cast illusion spells. Also illusion spell barriers aren't just labeled to Hogwarts, any capable wizard can cast them around to effect the area.

I think it was established that wizards and magical rings sequester themselves in places like Hogwarts because they were effectively beaten back by ordinary folks during the middle ages and beyond.

@sightlessreality: I know. But couldn't they just cast the same charm they use on Hogwarts to make Muggle tech fail over the valley? Since a lot of able wizards, like Grindelwald, Dumbledore and Voldemort are helping?

Full123: guns and explosives are not gonna fail only electronic devices can and also the shields best feat was stopping small fire balls. US gonna of course suffer casualties but Wizards have no way of winning this and also the Wizards are outnumbered by like 500-1000:1 ratio.

@eliahparichitha: Um, the books never state that only electronic devices fail, they just say that any Muggle technology fails. Also, I'm talking about the huge one, that was cast at the final battle of Hogwarts. Also, I should probably change the rules saying that US Army has only 10,000 troops.

The wizards and witches go invisible and use apparating, thestrals, and their spells to win. They could also have some wizards try to use Occlumency but I'm not sure how well that'd work out on the battle field.

@full123: Hermoine says that electronic devices/radio devices fail due to magic interference in the 3rd book. Thats the shield I am talking about it only took on a barrage of small fire balls but if the troops try to go straight through it then they will disintegrate.

Wizards because i doubt the us would just bring a nuke, and i doubt the wizards would let them use it. Also, this is assuming their shields and shield spells can even stop something with as much piercing power as a bullet

Regular soiliders alone just shoot most of the wizards then the airstrikes start then the nukes hell a tank blitz would be a big defeat for the wizards.

Guns>wands according to JK Rowling so...Army. Even without that statement, Wizards lack knowledge of muggles and carpet bombs take this.
