Could you state some feats for Jensen, never played the game before. And i'm at work so i'm not in a position to youtube it :p
hm, after reading up on Jensen i have to say it's pretty equal. Stealth and X-Ray vision should keep them up to par detection wise. The one thing that i think will fetch Jensen the win is his EMP grenade, not sure how this would affect Acatraz...
@Hohenheim_of_light: Care to explain?Explain why Alcatraz wasn't so impressive? He just didn't seem very capable physically. He had some impressive tech with like stealth, being able to increase his armor, but a lot of times during the game he was bumbling around and struggling to climb up a destroyed bridge. I guess it might of had something to do with the Ceph material he absorbed earlier but outside of his tech I haven't noticed anything special.
@Hohenheim_of_light: There were a lot of factors in the story that hindered him. But as a whole the nanosuit (in combination with his level of training) makes him quite the physical threat. I'd say he has the strength and durability edge here, where-as Jensen has the tactical edge with a larger variety of options at his disposal.Well I can't comment on how he'd do in this fight because I haven't played Deus Ex yet. I played the second one years ago but I don't even remember if it's the same character or not, plus I only played it for about an hour before getting bored. Once I play the game and read the comics then I might of something of value to contribute here.
@Hohenheim_of_light: Unfortunately, it has been extremely lackluster in the feats department. The best it has offered is showing the nanosuit can warn them of threats, then the rest is filled with very basic run and gun action scenes. :(I'm glad you read it and saved me the trouble. I didn't like Crysis 2 at all and I wasn't looking forward to digging through the comics to look for feats.
this is interesting. we haven't seen any strength feats for adam jensin but alcatraz can throw cars i do beilieve. if it comes down to suit vs suit i think alcatraz wins it although i don't know enough about deus ex to say
@katanalauncher: I'd consider one EMP grenade standard gear for Jensen. Then Jensen wins, one EMP nade is enough to shutdown the suit for a few seconds and for Jensen to make this kill.
Yes at this point we don't know if Jensen have some sort of Infrared vision like Alcatraz(It's highly unlikely since the nanoenhanced agent from the first game didn't have it), if we doesn't a cloaked Alcatraz could pick him off from a distance.@katanalauncher: I completely agree it's a game changer if used properly. But there's also the potential for Jensen being eliminated before he has a chance to use it.
@katanalauncher: Jensen has both x-ray vision and cloaking capabilities.X-ray vision won't help you picking up cloaked enemies, since Nanosuit redirect the light particles it would redirect the X-ray.
the crisis guy might be able to lift cars but thats not punching strength. Jensin can punch through walls but the guy in crisis has a hard time demolishing a shack with his hands.
his vision also is not xray its something else and it's how i spot cloaked enemies in deus ex.
whether there are walls to punch through or cars to throw makes this very interesting. :D
*edit* nvm my bad i didnt read the op right. i deleted what i said.
@Blood_guts: They don't go too far, but it represents how powerful his striking abilities are. No, I haven't had that much time with Deus Ex, unfortunately.well he has quite the punching feat lol. i dont wanna spoil anyting so i'll leave it to your temptation
Crysis guy has a big durability advantage...but Deus Ex dude has more tools at his disposal. Stalemate.speaking of durability is there a filtration system on the crysis suit? becuase Adam has gas grenades.
For this match, please assume Adam Jensen's gear is limited to a 10mm pistol, combat rifle, 1 frag grenade, and 1 EMP grenade. He has his augmentations set at the level in his comic.are the guns fully upgraded? i never read the comic so idk what level that is for the augments
I don't know anything about Crysis or characters from it, but I'm interested how Jensen would perform against them, especially after his upgrade in Mankind Divided. @lubub55?

Funnily enough, Crysis 2 is the only one in the series I didn't play.
Not sure why you picked Alcrataz from Cyrsis two to be represented here since his feats are extremely limited even by novel standards due to the fact that Alc, and Prophet are literally fused together like Alc is the body or vessel while Prophet is the brains of the body, but anyway judging from this thread prolly give it to Alca/Prophet. They were known to fight the Ceph who were mopping the floors against all human forces for the vast majority of the time especially by Crysis III, and Prophet was known at least in the novels to have killed an Island of some of the best soldiers in the world by the hundreds. He's also got some cool powers that should give him the edge as well and allow more flexible approaches and tactics then that of Adam Jensen. In the end though the fight would be a good fight especially if Adam can catch Alca off guard.
