I think that'd then change the match heavily into the wolves' favour. To balance things out, it should be 3 or 4 wolves only. (That are working together and are allowed to get the drop on the lion.)

Absolutely not lol. The Kavkazskaya Ovcharka which weighs in about 180-250 , and has the bite force slightly higher than a wolf kills them quite easily. These dogs are known for killing bears, wolves , mountain lions , and other animals . I have two of them , and you will find them on live leak if you wish to see them in action. Don't believe me go to Russia , that president has banned them in certain cities. In additon to this one Ovcharka can take three wolves at a time , these dogs are an ancient breed very ancient only about 2000 remain . Due to the fact they were all killed during the fall of the berlin wall , because they were too dangerous to keep alive. They're not a fully domesticated breed , and we're the earliest breed of dogs beside the wolf . They were found 14,000 years ago , you can also find there lesser ancient cousins like the slarpaninac, kangal etc
