I think Escanor can recover, even at his lowest. I think even when getting impaled with a big hole in his chest, he healed over time like it was instant after a few seconds. Plus his heat melted a castle, water when he saw Merlin's...aqua dress...as well as assaulting Estarossa with Cruel Sun.

Now I feel bad for being unbiased against Kuzan's favor.

I'll just argue for argument's sake.

Aokiji was able to fight evenly with Ace who can casually change the weather in Drum Island to have no snow on the island with his presence. Not to mention, Ace's strongest attack was big enough to cover a large portion of a random island on the Grand Line. Ace and/or Blackbeard were able to knock down a mountain/large boulder in Banaro island in their fight which dwarfed the small town they were fighting in (Chapter 441).

Akainu's heat is outright better than Ace's being able to burn fire itself. Not only that, but Akainu in his 10 day battle with Aokiji, indirectly made a sea that is permanently on fire or at least 2 years. Even in a prior panel, there was a volcano erupting as well. Akainu made multiple volcanoes on Punk Hazard. Aokiji was able to fight Akainu on equal ground for 10 days straight and cause directly opposite extreme weather effects despite being right next to active volcanoes. The only distance is from a large lake that is the direct epicenter of their fight. The lake was big enough to fit in some of the mountains on Aokiji's side and considering that the area was originally an island, Akainu and Aokiji destroyed all the area of that island indirectly

Not to mention, Akainu was able to instantly vaporize a giant ice glacier

Lastly, for Aokiji's ice feats, he was able to freeze two gigantic tsunamis that dwarfed Marineford. And, he was able to casually freeze the ocean to the extent that a person would be able to walk to the other islands in long ring. This ice age was able to last for a week.

Someone might eventually say that the sun is hotter than lava, worse if Escanor is sun-based or magically-enhanced sun-based. I need to preserve my bias for Aokiji.

Lock this, my pride can't take such possibilities of a pressuring counter against Aokiji.

Aokiji wins this, he already hold his own against similar or even better opponents with heat manipulation. And he can always outlast Escanor with his stamina and intagability.

No hes not. He wouldn't even be able to begin to tickle Ao Kiji's Haki and the dude probably can iignore durability with level 2 Armament Haki, he neg diffs either way.

Escanor can't even last 10 minutes against Akainu. Ao Kiji fought Akainu for 10 days. Ao Kiji neg diffs this fodder. He permanently froze an island an tilted its weather and flash froze Jozu who has non standard durability on top of being way stronger than Escanor physically. To be honest his lowest showing which is ice age should gg with spam. No.

It depends of the temperature of escanor and his heat pontency.

We had that aokiji clashed with ace mera mera power, ace can vaporize pasivelly winter clouds from the entire drum a whole day.

I dont remember any escanor feat like that.

And even without his fruit, aokiji should had better stats, aokiji fought 10 days with akainu,the man who clashed with gura gura powers,so he should be around country level.

And in speed again, aokiji is relativistic, and escanor is only 4 digits with the one.

If Escanor's heat is to hot Kuzan can just keep his distance and spam for a few hours and considering his massive range and how long he can output ice he can stop when Escanor is weak and kill him
