@kangconquers: well while I like Adam Warlock, he did surprise attack Norrin from behind. So impressive as it is to damage Surfer, it doesn't seem like propee evidence that he coudld 1-shot a ready Surfer. Hopefully, he'll gain some impressive feats.

Agreed, but it did show he's powerful enough to one shot an unamped Silver Surfer (i.e. Silver Surfer not using the power cosmic to amp his stats.) One shotting Quasar and Silver Surfer shows that he has attacks strong enough to put down any herald.

This would at the very least, make Warlock a glass canon, like Black Bolt, since his physicals are still presumably the upper-meta level that they were in the 90s. I have a slight feeling that this Warlock will basically be a good Magus (who is a casual teambuster/ herald stomper) but that's entirely unproven, and neither here nor there.

This scan has always confused me. What is it that Thanos kills Warlock with? An AoE attack, or the punch in the panel before?

I think Thanos takes this... he is one of the most overrated characters on the comic vine, but also has one of the greatest minds in the MCU. I think he could take Warlock again.

Adam was helpless against a bloodlusted Thor, who Thanos outranks severely. Thanos should win with moderate effort.

Warlock gets merced by Thanos. Read the Final Threat. Thanos one shots him and ruminates over how much easier than anticipated it was. Sure, Adam comes back with plot armor and hax to drag Thanos to the afterlife, but the fact of the matter is Thanos wrecks Adam in a pure 1-on-1.

It's an alternate Adam Warlock (Earth-19141) from Starlin's most recent "Thanos" saga who had absorbed his entire reality in Thanos: The Infinity Revelation.
