Abomination vs Absorbing Man
Versions: Classic.
Location ; Central Park. It is daytime.
No Morals.
No prep.
Winner by Death.
Start 90 Feet Apart.
Absorbing Man is at peak levels.
Who wins?
Hmm... I don't think Absorbing Man will have much of a chance in a Park. There isn't too much impressive alloys to absorb there, other than Abomination's own thick hide. I'm leaning to Abomination for this one.
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: if he is smart enough (which he isn't) he could pull a win. wouldnt abosording plants give like like super regin abilities? all speculation on my part. but iron park bench or steel light post maybe?
Classic Abomination: Takes out Crusher before he can try to absorb his strength.
Jobber Abomination: Trips over a rock and dies.
Chaos War Abomination: Sneezes on creed and vaporizes him.
Ghost Abomination: Like Classic only this time Creed can't even lay a finger on Blonsky if he doesn't want to be touched.

Maybe, but I'm not sure those alloys are strong enough to really do any serious damage on Abomination. Hulk at base strength can already rip those items off effortlessly, and Abomination is twice the power of base strength Hulk. At best I could see Absorbing Man holding Abomination off.

I agree
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: @chaos-soul: @DarkScarecrow: If "Classic" translates to "Original", I'd say Absorbing Man wins as we'd be talking about the version of Crusher Creel from his first appearance in Journey into Mystery #114.
Originally, he basically had the same power as InBetweener or Protege (but perhaps without power stacking)--he'd immediately absorb the power of anyone he fought via proximity and physical contacy (was stalemating Thor in his first appearance), so he'd at least stalemate any version of Abomination, and he could of course do stuff like wander around and look for a jewelry store to absorb diamonds, tire Abomination out in a long fist fight, then just reabsorb Abomination's power and take him out after he became exhausted. I have Journey into Mystery #114 sitting around somewhere if anyone wants me to dig up info.
Can Absorbing man absorb peoples strength as they hit him? In that case Absorbing Man handily.
If not Abomination.

Yup.
And yes, my money's on Creel as well.
@toratorn: In that case i don't see how Creel loses.
Did writer's forget about this ability or was Absorbing man retconned? I mean in the comics i have seen Creel get beat up in a pure h2h fight.
@noobmaster2001: nah, he had shown this ability in his modern appearances as well, like when he fought She-Hulk or Mindless Ones.
On some occasions Creel's already copying a property of some material and doesn't bother to copy the strength of his opponent, which leads to him losing, on other it's just bad writing.
Absorbing man easily. The only way to beat Absorbing man is to outhax him or just count on his stupidity, because the guy is honestly broken so they write him as a complete moron in the comics most of the time so that he wouldn't just steamroll everyone.
Absorbing Man wins.
Absorbing Man CAN win if he can still absorb, from his foes or find something in the park which I'm not aware of anything in the park...

Absorbing man should win here considering these feats in mind
