Stops at Azula. Sozin's Comet would make her instant lightning lethal and her raw power as well as fire jets (both (almost) as good as Ozai's) are pretty op.
EDIT: Aang has lightning redirection. I forgot. Stops at Amon unless plot wants otherwise.

He has firebending to negate some of her blasts, airbending to dodge what he can't block, lightning redirection to negate her lightning, and his offensive airbending and earthbending will give her problems. Saying all that, morals on Aang is a horrible fighter and is almost scared to hit his opponents. A healthy Azula can take advantage of his hesitation to pull out a win. She also won't be that far behind him in speed with her fire jets.

Amon>Everyone who isn't an avatar in the avatar state.

Kuvira could maybe win depending on the environment-would have to be somewhere with lots of metal, like the cockpit where she fought Korra.

I think it's just pointless to put Amon on gauntlets without plot. Just no reason really. No one beats him without the AS...

We have many waterbenders to use in batttles though. Korra, Katara, Ming Hua, Unalaq are some high end ones with many feats. With hype, you have Pakku, Hama and stuff. Mid tiers like Kya, Desna and Eska or Tonraq. There;s also Huu but he is not exactly to be used as a waterbender. I'm good though :P

Amon was weaksauce, he lost to Korra who had no airbending experience and his father got Aang by a surprise attack. With Aang knowing it's a battle he knocks him flat out before Amon can lift a finger. Yakone had hard time killing Aang without AS, he was doing his best to kill him and was sweating all around before AS kicked in. Before that best he could do to Aang was knock him down for a second.

Aang didn't need AS to take out Yakone, it was for plot to make Aang look cool. He just stood there and let Yakone go to town on him, instead of just Earthbending him to the ground and taking his powers asap.

Morals on makes it hard for aang to take down azula with comics feats and the comet in the sky.
He's losing but taking a minority there to then get stomped ny the psychic bloodbender you totally can't beat without AS or plot.

Korra didn't beat him. She surprised him with plot convenience. He was fine afterwards and could have finished her, but didn't cause he was exposed

He could have killed Aang the first time, Aang was completely helpless. Second time he was making it painful, bloodbenders are kinda sadistic like that.

Yakone can bloodbend with no movement, earthbending wouldn't have stopped him. It only worked after the Avatar State because Aang used the AS to negate bloodbending

@arcus1: Korra did beat Amon. She flat out broke his control and kicked him out of the window, that's a win. He was K.Oed, just because he recovered rather quickly(because of the water) it doesn't mean her victory didn't count.

No he could not have. Second time he was giving it his all and was giving it his all but it wasn't enough before the AS kicked in.

Amon or clear. lets be honest folks even though aangs not going to go after anything fatal but if he has his comic feats and is fully realised he isn't just going to let her(azula) unload on him.

I'm not sure about that. Azula is not as fast as Comet Ozai but she can certainly fly/glide around stuff as well. Her fire jets were ALMOST as good and instant lightning will allow ehr to break through earth defences, that are the only thing that can defend against her fire.
As for how he will take her down, his best chance would tot ry and take her bending away, which isn't something that Azula will fall for. Ozai was exhausted when Aang managed to do that after he got several hits from AS.
Aang is not a fully realised Avatar. That would be Roku.

Earthbending works if you knock somebody out unless they can bloodbend while being knocked out, which I was not aware was possible.

Yakone didn't want to torture him, he wanted to kill him as he stated so himself, it even cut to Yakone being all sweaty and trying his hardest to kill him and you see Aang resisting. You say he could have killed him easily, but the show says otherwise, he had hard time killing Aand and Aang didn't even fight him back, he just stood there and let him go to town on him like I said.

If Aang knew it was a fight he could knock Amon out before Amon starts bloodbending. Aand is faster, stronger, smarter and more experienced in combat.

If Aang knows this is a battle he goes for the instant one shot. Aang 1 shot people as kid all the time in the show so they couldn't react to him and fight back.

You are delusional if you think Amon can move faster than Aang.

The wank for Legend of Korra and their weaksauce characters is going hard on Comic Vine.

• He has no way to instantly KO him. Amon withstood that air blast already. And Aang never one shot any named opponent.
• Amon easily has the reflexes and agility to react to Aang
• There is not a single attack faster than psychic BB.

@sirneko: Because Amon can use bloodbending with his mind he only needs to think while Aang needs to move. Speed of thought>>>>physical movement. The only people he oneshoted where fodder firebenders, in real fights he never oneshoted right off the bat. I agree he would try to in this fight, but he's not getting the chance.
