This has been done before. Gorillas although very strong, have no chance against a bear. Bears is faster has claws it's way heavier and is better protected by layers of fat.

A Kodiak bear can kill any Gorrilla known.  And the Extinct Short Faced bear can slay the largest primate to have ever existed with ease.   Bears FTW.

um since when has man not beat a bear with his bare hands. there are tons of events at which a man has went at it or wrestled a bear. hell i was at a tough man contest one time and this guy all jacked up on coke faught a beer and won. the guy was insane he beat every man he fought to a pulp and every time he got hit wasnt even like he felt it. the coke damn near made him invincilbe well in his head at least since he had a broken nose and was pretty banged up but in the end he beat the bear.

the thing about the man vs the bear fights though is they remove the bears claws so it doesnt claw the guy to death but it still has its teeth

They do hold events where people can wrestle/fight Bears. But like Ronin said their de-clawed and usually somewhat trained (so they dont bite)
