Kenpachi takes this, power scaling advantage is insane plus he's a certified badass, no way could Might Guy even hurt Kenny in the allotted time his 8th gate grants him or he would have smoked Madara, furthermore with Kennys superior nerves/reaction time he probably slices Guy in two in his first advance since he has to get so close

Both of 'em are really strong. . .but Ken-chan's body breaks faster than Gai. If Kenpachi start to lose his arms due to his power, well. . .Gai takes this. Furthermore Gai is faster and could possibly blitz, and dodge Ken-chan attacks, from mid-high distance with Hirudora or Evening Elephants multiple-shots.

Guy stomps.

Gai is way above him in terms of offense and speed. Both of them can one-shot the other, but gai is significantly faster so he'll get off an attack first.

Might Guy due to superior speed

However Guy has almost nonexistent durability feats so if he doesn't outright blitz and murder Kenny from the start (or if his body breaks down before that due to the gates) there's nothing to suggest he wouldn't be cleaved in half by Kenpachi with a single slash

@god_vulcan: in reality Guy was injured by Juudara as shown in a scan before Night Guy, when Juudara's said "Let's dance more!" to Guy. But to be clear Juudara only wanted to play with him all the time.

Also Kenpachi's body broke fast ihmo. He literally lost his arm

It all depends on who strikes first and in this case Guy would blitz because he's faster

Actually now that I think about it would still be Gai even if there wasn't a speed difference. Since both of their attacks can be launched casually, it can be assumed that they will be launched at the same time. However, Gai's attacks carry greater range and power, meaning Evening Elephant will overpower Zaraki's slashes.

@phantomrant: I agree. Guy's only major advantage was speed. Their strength is debatable, but I'm leaning towards Guy for being able to severely damage Madara. But when when you put up fist against swords it doesn't usually end well, and we're talking about a guy (no pun intended) who could one shot island to small country level meteors in just his shikai form.

If speed was equalized then this thread would really be debatable, I still lean towards Guy but Kenpachi has a host of cutting feats and could easily dismember Guy's limbs left and right. For the majority I still think Guy would win, but Kenpachi could decapitate him as well. I'm conflicted (signs of a good thread)

Low mid tiers. Guy gets absolutely fodderized by low mid tier Bleach characters. Kenpachi is next to god tier which can destroy those pests with the pressure of his prescence. No joke, he could kill Guy by flicking his pinkie in base with his eyepatch on

Slice a 1/4 or 1/3 serieti sized meteor with a casual slash , in shikai , but eye patch on >>>>>>>>Anything naruto characters did with raw power . ( no energy atacks etc. )

Guy should win do to superior speed however if he stops from the pain for a moment like he did with madara than he may get one shot.

Even night guy wouldn't be a smart move because the charge time leaves him wide open so his best bet would be to let kenpachi burn himself out

It could go either way both have what it takes to kill the other. There’s no definitive advantage for either since night guy would never happen in a real fight since it takes prep.

Guy bending space with his speed happened specifically during his strongest attack... after which he dies. So no, everything you wrote is wrong. He is that fast only while performing his last resort. So he gets one shot way before that happens.

Oh, btw base Bankai Ichigo reacted to GRC, which also disorts space and blocked it. No idea whats so special about that though.
