- 2 Adult Siberian tiger males
- 1 full grown male polar bear
Fight takes place on the north pole.
Bear would have his Hands full with one due to their Speed, Agility and That Powerful Jaw Bite.
Team Stomps
@skywalker95: wat, one Tiger gets murked by a Polar Bear. Lmao the cat wank.
Siberian tigers average 320kg while polar bears average 450kg (One tiger is definitely in the bears league)
Both are predators and are designed to fight others
E.g. Loose excess skin so that their skin doesn't easily tear apart (Fight would be long and the bear would fatigue quicker as the tigers would wear him down being a 2v1) They are not gonna kill each other with one bite etc
Tigers should win with severe injuries which would later result in death
@theserbianempire: I didn’t say the Tiger Would Win now did I?
@skywalker95: A Bear is not having its hands full with something 3-4x smaller than it.
@theserbianempire: Yes it would due to the Ridiculous Speed and Agility the Tiger Possess. The Tiger could use it's Sharp Claws too.
@miekskywalker: wild male siberian tigers average less than 250kg, not over 300kg, haha.
Would be close, but I’m going with the bear. The location favors polar bear. The tigers are used to the cold and snow, but not to the extremes of the north pole. The longer the fight, the worse off the tigers are. Sib tigers are also killed by brown bears, which are significantly smaller than polar bears (the tigers also kill their fair share of brown bears as well). Close, but in an open polar setting with no chance for a surprise ambush by the tigers, its the bear.
This is a pretty good fight.
Polar bears have varying average size from area to area, but normally around 500 kg while Modern tigers normally don't reach half that size unless they are large individuals.
The Bear can only really focus on one at a time, but has size and power on its side. The terrain advantage also goes to the Bear.
Polar bear wins 65% of the time.
@skywalker95: Im sorry buddy, but this isnt a comic book. Their will be no Tiger using its "Ridiculous Speed and Agility" to do anything but run away from a Polar Bear or get overpowered and killed. Nor will its sharp claws be of much use besides causing superfical injuries, any attempt to grapple a Polar Bear will result in death.
@theserbianempire: We’re not gonna See Eye to Eye Buddy.
Let’s just Agree to Disagree

If tigers work together the bear goes down
@buckwheat: Tigers dont work together, Lions would of been a better choice.
@crawlerwing_night: My bad forgot the exact weights
However the front one on the pic is a big boy
The fight will most likely end in all 3 dead
Polar bear wins and dies through exhaustion and blood loss
Same goes for the tigers
The tigers win but not without one of them getting mauled and scratched up, but not too badly since Tigers are faster.

'tis true. Tigers are lone wolves. Unlike lions, that behave like beehives.
Nonetheless, OP says two tigers against one bear, so bear in mind that both tigers will be attacking together. I say the bear could barely make it, but the outcome will be clear. The bear will overpawed and outjawed. The bare numbers don't lie my Serbian friend.
@thought_robot: This isn't pound for pound though, both are fully grown.
Don’t the Tigers have “weak” skulls? One hard blow from the Polar Bear would crush their skull wouldn’t it?
Additional info. Before we get to it.
Tigers are not really known for "working" together. You see guys, these things are not fictional characters where you can just randomly say "OH SHIT SPEED EQUALIZED" like no, you cannot do that. Coming from a guy who literally spent years arguing in animal vs debate forums, that's not how it works. We argue by putting up scientific studies that for example among many, measure muscle fiber types in animals which varies on function and strength. We analyze the behaviors of the animals fights, their hunts, the context of their activities.
Such as the myth that Male Lions are just lazy lazy cats, reality is that Nomad Male Lions do a lot of hunting, especially at night. Male Lions merely overheat in the sunny african day due to their heavy manes for once which is one of the reasons why they don't do a lot in the day. There's more to these animals than the stereotypes, but there are many accounts of Male Lions soloing Buffalos, head on. See? Unknown.
OT: Tigers do not ever work together to take something down. They're solitary animals, you cannot conceive how they could even pull off working together.
Also, carnivorous animals are not like movie monsters that just GROWRRLRRLRAGRRRR ROARRR and just looking for a fight. Large Carnivorous Mammals have a tendency to also avoid fights as injuries can lead to disease and infection and eventual handicaps and death other than territorial disputes. It doesn't always end in blood like that.
You should also understand that pretty much a majority of Lion, Tiger or Bear hunts of large mammals usually end in failure and have around 10-15% chance of success. Some say that Tigers have only 5% chance of success throughout out all their hunts.
For all you know, a fight might not even happen as the Tigers will probably be intimidated and be cautious of the Bear and vice versa.
The thing about Big Cats is that their stamina is very low when compared to Dogs and Bears. Think of that first before putting up numbers advantages.
------
Conclusion of the fight.
In a full on brawl (which is unrealistic), a single Siberian Tiger (which isn't even as strong as Bengal specimens) will get stomped by a Polar Bear (which, to some debatability, is not even as strong as a Brown Bear IIRC) it doesn't appear to me that two Tigers will able to thrash a Polar Bear as fighting a Polar Bear is beyond the experience and hunting and fighting behavior applicability of one Tiger for fighting a carnivorous animal much larger that literally attacks and swipes its massive arms from up above.
They might pull off a win by tiring the Polar Bear but they will get seriously injured and confused in a brawl.
My knowledge on these animals has gotten rusty since I left the animal forums, but if the Tigers win, it won't be easy.
The only way for either to win is death by forcing the other to sustain enough injuries for the other to walk away or eventually die.
Unless the Tigers pull off breaking the spinal neck of the Bear by biting or clamping onto the Polar Bear's throat and force it into suffocation, which is difficult to imagine considering the Polar Bear's strength in slugging against them.
I think the fight will end with them just retreating.
Assuming perfect teamwork (and that the temperature doesn’t mess with the tigers), then they win, paws down.
Polar bears can get to 1,500 lbs while Siberian Tigers get to 700lbe at best. The Polar Bear has the size but he can't tangle with two and expect to win.

A Tiger literally killed a buffalo all by himself. Since this is Asia that is most likely a Water Buffalo which can weigh 1,200 lbs.
The Tigers should take this.
One tiger would take the bear down, you can't just look at numerical weights, the polar bear is heavier in terms of weight but you can tell that additional weight is all fat. Saying that a bear could beat a tiger is like saying a 600 pound obese person could beat a 300 pound pro nfl athlete. I don't know about their bite strength but the tigers are likely as strong as the bear overall while being faster and more agile.
@skywalker95: @buckwheat: Polar bears take down BELUGA WHALES. You know that an average beluga weighs around a ton and a half? Thats like three times the weight of the bear, and you think two stupid tigers are taking it down?
@guccibrick: That would be true, if bears weren't fast...grizzlies outrun horses, and polars take down beluga whales. Beluga whales weigh two tons. Polar bears have tons of muscle, it's shielded by fat to protect the animal from cold.
Its like an featherweight athlete trying to bring down Shaquille O Neal..
The bear takes down way tougher prey. Siberian tigers wont go beyond elk
An animal that kills whales could very well kill two pussycats
@sungsam: I agree 100%, but polar bears actually overheat alot earlier than most species of bears.

I wasn't aware that the tigers where stupid. That is a game changer.
@buckwheat: Ikr. Now you can put down your argument for the tigers
Btw, tigers are stupid compared to bears, who are very smart and intelligent
