Mini-series covering his life before he came to be the Wayne's butler, sure. Couldn't see him holding his own series though.
Only if King writes him. Out of the new Batman comic the only thing I love about it is his take on Alfred, but only if it's a mini.
@bighero6: SAS Alfred Special forces I would Definatly!

That would be cool.
Can it be a mini-series around the theory that he's the Joker? I'd be interested to see how he pulls that theory off.
That would be really interesting and would add some pathos to the character. Could be quite emotional.
If it's a mini about his SAS days then yeah, give it to me right away. But I think that the writer should be picked wisely. It shouldn't be someone like King or Snyder but maybe Peter Tomasi. He seemed to understand Alfred perfectly and I think he might be able to pull off a great pre-butler Alfred.
I've always thought it would be a great thing to see an Alfred comic. The iconic butler for Batman having his own small comic run would be fun and has a lot of potential. One could depict the story of him present day and how he assists Batman and his wards, or even have a series before he was a butler and showing his life before he even met the Waynes.
I would love a small Christmas one-shot in the theme of A Christmas Carol where Alfred is being haunted by the people he's let down over the years - the final ghosts being the Wayne's, of course.
I think a mini-series could be great about Alfred and maybe more down to Earth interactions with the Bat-Family outside of criminal threats. Would be good to see how he tackles all of it, deals with stress of watching Batman etc
Like others said, miniseries. Alfred is the best, most consistent supporting character. Some extra attention in small doses isn't doing any harm.
