Which Game was the best in Batman Arkham Series

Arkham City. I would have voted for Arkham Knight, but the overuse of the Batmobile tainted my enjoyment of the game.

Arkham Knight, easily. It has the best combat, stealth, side missions, map, and the high octane gliding and fluent control makes it more enjoyable to play than the previous games. I even liked how the Batmobile was utilized other than forcing it into a few of the boss fights.

Knight was GREAT! But the overuse of the batmobile and the anticlimactic boss fights kind of downgraded it a bit. While origins did have glitches, but they added martial artists and had the best boss fights and had a great story and for the first time ever in the series, Batman lost a fight.

Arkham City

i also personally liked arkham city because if story

4. Arkham Knight (only because > boss fight)

Batman Arkham Batmobile was unfortunately the worst

Arkham City is like the God Father of comic book based video games. It was twice the size of the game that came before it, had an insanely satisfying story line, fun side missions featuring a who's who of Batman's rogues, and a twist ending I honestly wasn't expecting.

The only thing I really enjoyed about Arkham Knight was the fact that it offers a huge roster of alternate costumes/Batmobiles you can play as and the fact that for the first time ever you don't have to beat the game once before you can use them in the main story.

City >> Asylum >>>> Knight > Origins

From a purely gameply experience, Arkham Knight is by far the most superior game and it's not even debatable.

As far as gameplay is concerned, Knight improved over the previous on every single level. Better combat, better gadgets, better graphics, bigger and better map, better stealth, more challenging thugs, more side missions, higher replay value, more skins. The only flaw on this aspect I can find here is the fact that without dlcs it has a low number of challenge maps but other than it surpasses the other games on the gameplay aspect.

As for the other stuff like story, characterization, voicework etc.. it's subjective as it depends on each individual's state, but as far as pure game mechanics are concerned, objectively, it is the most superior. Seriously, after Knight, the other games, especially Asylum, is almost unplayable simply because of how restrained and limited you feel playing it compared to how much variety was introduced in later games.

Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are the best two for me. I give the edge to Asylum though. That game was an instant classic and although City expanded upon everything, I just really enjoyed the story a bit more for Asylum.

Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins were good games as well, just not as good as the two that came before them.

Still hoping we get a Justice League or Superman game from the same studio. Would be awesome.

Honestly, I didn't really like any of the games. I found them all to be boring.

That being said, Arkham Knight was the one I put the most time into.
