What if TAS Joker and Batman became friends?

Can anyone imagine this happening? They've teamed up a couple of times in the comics.

To become friends, never. To team up, there's a chance if both were put in a difficult situation.

I guess it would be without some kind of plot device, but what if Joker put on an indigo ring or was lobotomized by Superman or mind controlled by another super villain? It would be dumb, but wouldn't it still be really interesting to see Joker acting so OOC? I wonder what Batman's reaction would be.

They wouldn't be friends ever. No writer would want to commit career suicide by writing them as friends. They are one of the most famous hero vs villain pairs in pop culture history.
