saddest/emotional batman story's recommendation?
@road_warrior: The saddest comcis I have ever read is to the surprise, a Batman story. I won't spoil it, but it is the grand finale of Batman Incorporated. Which is also the end of Grant Morrison 7 year run. But before reading that last book, here is what you should read :
- Batman: Batman & son
- The you have to know that
- Batman/Bruces disapears in time
- Dick Grayson fills in
- Dick and the current Robin patrol together
- Bruce travels thou time
- Once back he announces that he's always been founding the cap crusader
- While Dick stays Batman in Gotham, Bruce as Batman goes around the world to recruit allies
- You can read the Batman and Robin stories :
- Batman Reborn
- Batman vs Robin
- Batman and Robin must die
- Dark knight vs. White knight
- Batman Incorporated vol.1 - Batman Incorporated vol1 #1-8 + Batman Incorporated: Leviathan strikes!
- Batman Incorporated: Demon Star - Batman Incorporated vol2 #1-6
- To get a good grasp of the relation between Batman & Robin (which is important for the finale), you should read
- Batman and Robin: Born to Kill
- Batman and Robin: Pearl
- Batman and Robin: Death of the Family - Contains the excelent annual : Batman Impossible
- Batman Incorporated: Gotham's Most Wanted - Batman Incorporated vol2 #7-13 + special
Honnestly one of the best Batman Arc.
Requiem for Damian was pretty sad and VERY emotional. Seeing Batman's life fall apart as he went through the five stages of grief was heart wrenching.

Yes but this story is the aftermath of the arc I proposed. The real true sad event appens in Batman Incorporated !
@jb681131: That doesn't make Requiem any less emotional though.

It does make it less emotional ! You don't have all the build up behind. You don't see all the adventures and the relationships. In my opinion it's a big miss.

Well if that's your opinion I can respect that.
