Say what you wanta bout Beware the Btaman, but I enjoy it. I like the darker tone for batman, yet still kid-friendly. Mix beware the Batman with B:TAS, and you have a perfect show. But here is my idea:
- It is called Batman: Origins
- Oracle is Batman's sidekick.
- Riddler is known as Enigma.
- The GCPD are hunting Batman.
- Season One villain is Anarchy, who is making an army out of homeless people.
- The second part of Season One would feature Carmine Falcone hiring fourteen assassins to get rid of Batman.
- Second Season would introduce Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and Black Mask (who is revealed to be Joker).
- Oswald Cobblepot would be a casino owner, whos ecretly runs an arms trade.
- Nightwing would be introduced.
- The final episode of the season would feature Talia Al Ghul meeting Joker, Bruce Wayne buying Bizarro Tech, and him apparently dying in an explosion at Wayne Tower.
- Third Seasons main villain would be Lincoln March who takes over Wayne Enterprises.
- Red Hood would be introduced.
- Red Hood, Oracle, Alfred, Jim Gordon, and Nightwing would team up to take on a group of assassins known as Talons.
- Bruce Wayne would return as batman towards the end of season.
- Lincoln March, Talia Al Ghul, Joker, Talons, and Deathstroke would team up to take on Batman's team.
- Final episode would feature Batman's death by his son Damian wayne, who is the Heretic.
- The series would end with dick Grayson becoming Nightwing, Red Hood disappearing to start a new life, and Oracle and Nightwing getting married.
- The cast I haven't focused on a lot, but of course Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as Joker.
- it would be for more mature audiences like Young Justice was.
- Some of the C and D-Listers would be made into cooler villains.
- Example: Eraser is now a criminal who helps clear evidence for other villains, even if the evidence is a human.
- Another Example: Calendar Man is the number one information source in Gotham. He knows everything that goes on.
- A Final Example: Killer Moth is an assassin almost as talented as Deathstroke. He uses a jetpack and teams up with Firefly.
So that was my idea, what is yours???
Let me know!
I will read them!
1) Sure, why not.
2) So Barbara's already crippled off the bat? Why? Batman has Alfred as Mission Control in his earlier years, you're just putting in Barbara sans all of her backstory.
3) Oh, so you're just ripping off Batman: Arkham Origins. OK.
4) OK, sure.
5) Not bad actually.
6) Meh, in my opinion.
7) Joker as Black Mask? Not only are you taking from Batman: Arkham Origins, you're borrowing the worst aspect of it too?
8) So, normal Penguin except that he's a casino owner instead of a nightclub owner for some reason.
9) Don't you mean Robin? Bit too early for Dick Grayson to be Nightwing.
10) What does Talia want with Joker? The hell is Bizzaro Tech? What is the explosion, what is the backstory here? Give some details, man.
11) Oh God, not the Court of Owls and lame Not-Owlman.
12) Again, don't you mean Jason Todd? And isn't it too early for Batman to take on a second Robin? Or are you seriously going to introduce all of the classic Batman sidekicks sans all of their backstory and motivation?
13) I thought this was a show about Batman's origins?
14) So a whole season sans Batman? This early? This is a season 9 or 10 plot, dude, not a season 3 plot.
15) Where the hell did Deathstroke come from? And why the hell is Joker working with any of those guys? A bit of backstory, please?
16) Wait, Batman had sex with Talia already to conceive Damian? Did she steal his sperm? What's going on? CAN I GET SOME GODDAMN BACKSTORY, PLEASE?
17) Three seasons and Batman's dead? Isn't this an origin story?
18) Give us something new and exciting, for heaven's sake. This is your pitch, don't just retread the same stuff others have done.
19) Young Justice was for a Tumblr audience, not for a mature audience, with some occasional exceptions like the Harm episode.
20) That's cool but, uh, some examples please?
21) Um, that's already what the Eraser does. I thought you were updating them.
22) That's what the Calculator does and why does he call himself Calendar Man then? What's his shtick got to do with dates?
23) Actually a neat idea, but why do I get the feeling you took this from Batman: Bad Blood where Killer Moth was a Beetle Expy?
Final Verdict: Not creative enough, too all over the place, some good ideas intermixed with too many bad ones. Suggestion: Consider revising and probably don't say that it's a way to do a "Proper Batman Animated TV Show" when it doesn't even reach the level of The Legend Of Korra.
My comment might be a bit harsh for humor purposes, but consider the criticism within it nonetheless.
