So, how greatly venom effect Bane's strength has varied. Sometimes it only enhances him to low level super strength like in his original appearances, but other times his strength is almost Hulk like, ok maybe not that strong, but still very strong. Anyways, how do you prefer Bane's strength level?
How strong do you prefer Bane?
Arkham Origins was perfect.
Yep
@psy4: After New 52 Bane became very inconsistent. He has some seriously crappy showings but his high end ones would definitely put him over 5 tons at the least.
Like lifting and throwing giant boulders, leaping in to a light house with one jump. Getting thrown from the sky by Man-Bat and landing without injury. Fighting an army of Bat villains hopped up on Venom, ripping a gigantic steel door in Blackgate designed to keep Talons in( who've made light work of regular steel doors) off its hinges. Squashing a Talon's head under his fist, having 3 times the ice pressing on him than a peak physical specimen on venom could handle but still casually overcoming it etc.
Would prefer him to have his Pre Flashpoint physical and skill levels.
No venom, I'd prefer if he started using miraclo but that too only for uber threats. He wouldn't bother with it on Batman for instance.
If not that then just make him Cap America level with bullet proof skin like Doc Savage.
Infact Savage should be the template for Bane, does anyone know about Savage's level?
@entropy_aegis: Why not abstract? Wouldn’t you wanna see him break the Spectre’s back?
@entropy_aegis: Why not?

Damn bro why do writers do this? The quality of a character and story doesn't depend on the power of the character. Authors just need to stop reading comic forums and they won't fall prey to wank-induced escalation. Wank is a little fun but it's strictly for the fans.
I won't lie, it was quite ridiculous to see Bane shred through Arkham Asylum the way he did, venom or not, and even more ridiculous for Batman to survive those blows with no permanent injuries or a single lost tooth and beat him up without weapons or planning. Not the first ridiculous thing in that arc though with Batman's asinine plane to H2H an army, get his back broken, fix it and do whatever else. These are the types of things that make me take long vacations from Batman sometimes but I'm sure it's a field day for the featz crowd.

Now this type of thinking I like and it makes a lot of sense! Bane is already a doper and represents that to some degree. Miraclo could be a huge, but rare boost for him on certain events when venom just doesn't cut it. In fact on miraclo, there are so many questionable venom feats that I would immediately accept without doubt. Just don't have Batman beat him up with his bare hands and no plan for heaven's sake.
@psy4: Yes less is more but I believe Bane's inconsistency boils down to overcompensation. When New 52 started Bane hadn't been a villain for more than a decade and hadn't used venom in almost two. So they immediately went overboard. Then they decided to knock him down a few pegs ( Batman Eternal, Batwoman) then Rebirth looked at his poor treatment in those and decided to overcompensate again.
Do you know about miraclo, I'm an Hourman novice so the bulk of my knowledge comes from Earth-2 Thomas who was part of a trainwreck franchise that has since been shelved. Hourman wikis' aren't informative and he has no respect threads.
@entropy_aegis: Tony Bedard had Bane work with the Tylers in JSA CLassified. Rick on miraclo was shown to be massively stronger than Bane - he punched him through a wall and Bane flew for about 100-150 feet before getting lodged in the ground. Miraclo's issue is the time limit.
Slightly stronger than Batman off Venom, handily stronger on it.
what this guy said.
@morpheus_: Yeah, some estimates put miraclo at 70 tons which I first thought was ridiculous. But I guess Hour Man isn't a street level character.
