Poll Does Batman's prep make him invincible? (118 votes)
I hear a lot of people say with sufficient prep bats can win any fight.
I simply think this is not true but I want to hear some other opinions.

It shouldn't, but the way he's been portrayed over the years by various writers.... yeah... it kind of does. Although I believe even he said that if Superman really wanted him dead there wouldn't be anything he could do about it. So I guess against a bloodlusted Superman he'd go down no matter how much prep he had. So technically it's a 'no' but yeah... you gotta bring in something on the order of a bloodlusted kryptonian to do it.
I'd say based on the enemy honestly , the best prep feat I've seen from him is based on JL : Doom(animated movie) where he literally planned how to kill the rest of JL.
I honestly can see him reking most human/superhumans/non-omega or hax mutants.
and no , not just by downright brawling with them , gadgets , military weapons and other methods.
No.
His prep gives him a new approach of the threats that he is facing so he can fight in better conditions and often have an advantage.
I've had it enough with people asking this question... Frankly it sounds like people already know the answer to this question yet still keep asking it to make Batman and his fans look bad.
No comic character is invincible, regardless of prep time or whatever plot device they may be able to acquire. If a writer wants a character beat, then the character will be beat. A writer can write a story of Batman soloing the Justice league or owning Darkseid if he wants. A writer can also write a story of Batman getting his butt kicked by two random street crooks if that is what he wants.
People who say Batman can beat anyone are just joking around for the most part, but for what it's worth this is fiction and anyone can beat anyone so long as the writer allows it.
Grow up and stop repeating questions that have been asked infinite times before. You make yourself look extremely gullible and unoriginal and it's not even funny.
Batman became one of the most hated characters in the vine thanks to people/trolls like you throwing senseless generalizations around.
This poll is just pointless.
0/10.

When Batman loses with prep it's clearly PIS. When he solos the multiverse with it it's fair writing.
@traskindustries: my opinion, and probably most accepted: Thanos> Doom> Batman
Hypothetically speaking no. As a matter of fact even when Batman has prep he often wins only barely and probably would have lost a majority against the same opponent. However, he has over the years taken quite a number of powerful opponents and while these victories are theoretically the one out of a hundred lucky victory in the specific scenario, he had these one out of a hundred victories in quite a lot of scenarios. Why? Because he is the hero and that is how the story goes.
It is mainly fanboys saying he is invincible with prep or rather acting like he is invincible with prep. To the question whether Batman can beat anyone with prep the answer might be yes, but the answer to whether it is likely to happen is usually no. Invincible with prep he is definetly not.
No because you cannot prep for everything, Batman with prep is sooooooo highly overrated that it hurts my brain.
@leo-343: I was allready accepted into Spiderman heaven, and last I herd that's where the Frodo went at the end of ROTK
The answer to this question will never change:
Batman, and all these other characters are not real so it depends on who is writing him. In Comics you can dismiss logic and realism, since it is fiction and is not real so literally anything is possible.
Batman can easily stomp Thanos, Darkseid in a 2 v 1 if the writers wants him to. The same way they could just as easily stomps him if the writers wants them to. Superman can stomps Wonder Woman if the writer want him to just as easily as another writer might let Wonder Woman stomp him.
--> Every character's strength depends on the writer <--

mmm I dont know, Doom with prep beat Galactus and PR Beyonder
@traskindustries: it has been discussed Beyonder let Doom have his power

Doesnt look like he did
@traskindustries: hmm I could be mistaken tho that is only a scan and not the full context

Here is Doom ridiculing Beyonder like a little brat.
what i find puzzling is that Batman aint suppose to be killing anyone (including villians) because of his moral values...
but somehow his bluff of mass death and destruction of Apokalips inhabitants works against Darkseid and it was shown that he was serious about it.
Ask Slade. Still stomps Batman. Ask Joker. Still beats Batman. Ask Darkseid, Batman was still sent through time to die.
No. Batman's prep is probably the worst of all the prep masters tbh. Besides Stark since he fluctuates between good and horrible (his buster suits never work).

When did Slade ever stomp Batman? Gave me a chuckle.
@traskindustries: doom

This is what happens when you do respect-thread debating and don't know what you're talking about. SMH..
This fight is by no means a stomp for Slade. If anything he won by the inch of his life in a good fight. If you read the next issue after this book, you would know Slade was in a pretty messed up condition and he mentioned that Batman gave him a big run for his money and that he would be feeling the wounds for days..
What more? He also got his backside handed to him by an average joe that was literally half frozen to death and hanging like a sack of meat.
Slade didn't stomp Batman at all. Sorry to burst your bubble. Batman gave him a great challenge which he accepted himself and he was wounded to the point a guy who is half frozen to death and inferior to Slade in every way was able to make a fool out of him.
Just my two cents: Next time you try to correct people, make sure you know what you are talking about ;)
