does anyone else think the new Batman Harley Quinn movie is horrible?

Absolute sexist, trash. If this is DC's new light hearted direction. Count me out. I'm already not sold on Whedon doing JL. Get ready for every character in JL to be quipping big time, till the point all of them just become Josh Whedon. The trailer looked so good. But its because it had balance. The right characters were funny and the other characters who are serious were serious. but anyway I digress.

This Harley Quinn movie is absolute trash and DC should be ashamed of themselves. Unbelievable. Can we please get other DC characters cos it seems like they've run out of steam with Batman. Really. Anything Batman has starred in in the last few years has been awful. There are so many great dc else world comics that dc animated should be adapting, instead they're wasting money and time on this crap. absurd.

This was grade A trash, easily the worst DC animated movie.

A part of me is kind of pleased though. Now fanboys can layoff Damian and stop worshipping Timm. Its not as controversial as TKJ but its a heck a lot worse.

It wasn't that bad at least for me, but its also not that good. Would vastly prefer Elseworlds stories like Gods and Monsters or something with the GLC. Least it wasn't some N52 JL War or some shitty Damian Wayne story. I still appreciate Timm for the DCAU though, but hes losing his touch.

I didn't know it came out already. I still haven't watched it yet but if it's as bad as you guys are saying then all I can say is that I am not surprised at all.

I anticipated it being shit so I didn't watch it legally lol. Material like this makes pirates look justified.

No desire to rewatch it, even the first attempt was a chore.

Yeah, watching this movie seems more like a must-do thing if you are a fan of the DCAU and just want to keep track of things. You know it;s going to be total bs but you still have to lose some time in order to watch it and make up your mind if you like it or not.

Who knows, there might be some people out there who will actually like it lol.

The trailer didn't look promising at all.

I think this movies finally proves that Timm isn't the creative genius people pump him up to be. Aside from all the terrible jokes and unneeded swearing (there were plenty of S***s) the script was just sloppy. Harley's mood is constantly whiplashing from serious to jokey and she didn't really have a proper resolution to her character arc. There are some sequences that just seem random and add nothing to the story (Harley and Nighwing sleeping together, the farts in the batmobile, the musical sequence) and just seem like scenes a high schooler would add to their comedy film. The movie is totally missing a denouement.

The whole movie just seems too sloppy to have been made by a 25+ year veteran in animation. DC really needs to get their crap together with their animated movies; none of the recent movies have been any higher than mediocre and they are just riddled with amateur mistakes (like the pointless prologue in Judas Contract that added nothing to the story or connected to anything in the rest of the movie)

Timm either just doesn't care and just goes through the motions for the paycheck or he truly has lost all grasp of what makes a good story. Without DC bowing down to him, the guy would be nowhere in the animation industry.

I tuned out right around the "Harley farts in the Batmobile" sequence.

I never worshiped Timm or the DCAU, but come on, he can do way better than this.

I honestly didn't hate it. It was fun to sit and laugh at. Definitely no where near good enough to be considered a favorite of mine though.

Can't believe this is how they brought back the DCAU Lol
