Working on Comic

Hey there - Korey Barton Here.

It's been a long time sense iv'e been on here. I think the last time i came, i had a Password mix up with my Password and Comic Vine trying to join with another site :(

But now, I'm Happily back ! And i'd like to share with you all my Comic project iv'e been working hard on for a long while now. It's called KOZOR, and it's a fantasy Horror Comic.

Here's the first five Pages from it.

Here's part of the Description I wrote up for it over on Patreon -

"Its a dark fantasy epic, following the story of a legendary warrior named Kozor. In saying that, the story also centers around variety of different characters who are all being tormented with dark visions and horrifying nightmares.

Unbeknownst to them, their minds have been manipulated by evil Magator who seeks to influence them into helping him escape from the confines of an ancient prison he's been condemned to by the all powerful, godly forces.

“Kozor”, a man possessing a mysterious ability to manifest matter at will, embarks on a journey with his band of heroes, to find and destroy the nightmarish creature “Magator” and ensure that he's never released from the shackles of his cage.."

I think you should find a letterer to do your text + speech bubbles. No idea where you should start looking tho, lol. Nice style.

Well done Koza! I personally really like the word bubbles and text. It's different and it stands out. I think you are doing fine. To me its being a bit nit picky about the lettering and in my opinion it looks great. :)

@ramsillustrations: Haha thanks. I'm really happy you like it ! ;) . I do like the lettering too. I guess if i ever did find a pro letterer one day, I might take them on board...

Good stuff. Your artwork is pretty cinematic which I enjoyed. Only thing off was the text bubbles.

And as far as constructive criticism goes, from my personal opinion only, some of the dialogue seemed to be trying too hard. It didn't seem natural/believable. If that makes any sense. I've heard worse but I would just consider that.

Overall I enjoy what I see and I look forward to the finished project! I will be checking it out.
