@twotonezack: Thank you. No, just regular paper with a number two pencil, I did it at work in my off times. But yes I scanned it with a phone app, and I manipulate the filter a bit which emphasizes the pencil tones.
Just a No. pencil. I would like to see what you can do with an entire set of pencils. What was the app you used for scanning just out of curiosity. You can get Lightroom app I believe it is free and will be able to adjust the contrast and blackpoint of of the scan while keeping the paper white, again if the tone of the paper is something that is important to you.
