Predator drawing

just finished the inks for my new Predator piece, did this for art class. We were able to draw anything we wanted to show off our skills so hopefully my teacher digs it.

@typh: No but for real nice work. Predator was one of my favorite movies as a kid (yes as a KID).

@humanrocket: thank yeah very much, he is a really fun character to draw. I remember watching this as a kid all the time as well with my dad.

@reddeadjoker: I'm not sure if he will be, he main it pretty obvious the first day that he dislikes Horror movies and Comic book art; both of which is what I do. So I am seriously thinking of leaving the College and finding a new College to go to.

By the way...why does he not like Comic book art? He sounds like snob.

@arinya: yeah I put a lot of work into him, and thanks for checking him out. as for why my teacher doesn't like comic books is because he doesn't see it as a "True" art form.

@typh: Oh wow...is he like 100 or is he hopelessly clueless? Does he realize his statement is in contrast of the definition of what art is? Wow. I'd love for him to say that to a lot of comic artists faces like Jim Steranko, Frank Frazetta or Will Eisner to name some obvious examples. Steranko would probably punch your "teacher" right in the face. Can't believe people still feel that way. Wow I'm really upset you have to pay to hear that sort narrow-minded thinking. Please let us know what he says about your piece. I learned a lot about art through comic books.

@arinya: I am still waiting to be graded on the piece, he didn't have time to grade it in class on Tuesday. He did take a quick look at it and thought it looked pretty neat so maybe that is a good sign. I know with any project where we can draw what we actually want to draw and not (fruits and still life) I will be drawing comic book and horror related stuff each time haha.

That's some nice artwork, I really like the depth. I like it better black and white with ink rather than it being colored. Good job.
