Okay, so this is the first time I've tried to add color to any of my digital stuff since I got back into painting. So I've tried a few techniques and this one came out looking the best, though the colors are a bit muddy. Let me know what you think. Feed back and criticisms are always welcome. :)
New digital art.
The colours look great - like 60's cover art - but the proportions seem wrong in the original drawing. They have made your Deadman character seem a little squat.
I drew the head size down the body. As you can see from the proportion drawings on the left - the groin should be at or below the 4th head down the body.
Nice work man!!!
Really like how you use your colors
Is that your Deviant art ID?(Igotthelastusername)
Edit:Ah yesss it is lol going to +watch you

Well, this little experiment was mostly for the colors. I'll be trying out a few different color palettes over the next couple weeks. But, yeah, proportion is definitely one of the more major things I need to work on. Thanks for the input and the chart. I'm sure it will help a lot.
Looks awesome.
Thanks!
@fiodestromus: Thanks!
Yup, that's me. Even though I haven't posted to that profile in a while I still use the watermark. Thanks for the watch, by the way!
I love the texture of the brushes, plus wow! I didn't almost notice the skulls/spirits in the back. Great artwork!
Just a quick update. Here's some Fantastic Four concept art I did for another CV user. It definitely could have benefited from a lot more rendering - I realize you can't really tell what the different materials are. But now that I've got the concept down I may do some more detailed art using the design.
