It Just Gets Better With Time!

For those of you wondering if your art will ever improve, remember that Rams said that it all takes time and practice; Jack Kirby's art once sucked, too, before he became a legend. Here's a little inspiration from British Artist Michael Thompson at the Artstation website.

This one was drawn in pencil four years ago. It's good (especially the lighting and shadows):

Yes--this is the same artist, but these pencil/charcoal drawings are from TWO years ago (and my mind is blown):

You're probably like, "This is great, but--knotty, man, we can't do that!"

Hell, neither can I. That's not the point--everyone has to start somewhere, but you will eventually get to the point where you look back at your early stuff and see that you really have come a long, long way. ALL artists do--just keep it in mind.

Remember, artist Jack Kirby was a vassal before he became the King.
