I'll agree it is walking a very fine line there, I didn't actually notice where that second hand was O_o

Feel free to get a second opinion, it's often a tough thing to call but to me, it's just on the right side of acceptable since it isn't being shown in full biological detail.

Just noticed the second hand too....have to say that is pushing it...

I'm a tad uncomfortable with it, but I'm not going to override BumyBoo's decision on the matter. However MrFuzzy, I did put it under a spoiler with a NSFW tag just to be safe. Great work btw.

Yes, but just because we miss some things doesn't mean we actively look the other way. We simply can't moderate every post, hence the flag system, and the rules thread. Its also good to remember that just because some people didn't say they were uncomfortable doesn't mean they were not. And the Artist Show Off is a very popular part of the site. (You guys get on the front page a lot) so we should try to accommodate everyone to the best we can. I think it was fine to put it under a spoiler so that everyone can enjoy the thread without seeing something 'questionable'.

My point was, that I think how it was handled by you and Boo was perfect for the circumstances. My only qualm wasn't pointed at you or Boo by any means.

It was just on this side of the line I agree but it wasn't worth making a big deal as it had started. Questionable? Maybe so, just a tad but it just wasn't worth blowing a whistle over it. No nudity or overly excessive violence and gore. Some of us are wound a bit uptight I guess.

Once again, I am entitled to my opinion just as everyone else is. I just get tired of the 1 or 2 that always decides whats right or wrong for the rest of us. Within means of course.

I too believe in a line that should not be crossed. I don't draw porn or need for excessive nudity. Personal preferences on my part. :p

First, I'm sorry you seem to have misunderstood me, or I worded my thoughts wrong. I never felt you were rallying against myself or the decision I made. And I certainly never meant to suggest you have no right to opinions. You do, of course. As far as whistle blowing, she was just reacting as she understood the rules. I don't believe she was trying to get him in any sort of trouble.

Its not really one or two that decide. For example, several people were offended by the Chris Benoite thread, but Bumpy decided it didn't call for a locking. Each complaint is dealt with on a case by case basis, and if we feel a user is simply over-sensitive then this would have been handled differently. My post was not meant to be dictatorial in nature. I simply like having everyone on the same page, and wanted to explain why some things seem to be ignored, whereas similar things are moderated. We're not trying to crack down on anyone, just trying to keep as many people happy as possible. As you can imagine that is a thankless headache sometimes. : P

Sorry again if you took my post in a negative fashion after yourself or the OP. It wasn't intended that way.

I believe in rules but there is a fine line and sometimes its just pushed in the wrong direction by a few or less. :P
