Here's something I just threw together quickly when I saw this, I'm working on another design that goes along more with what Decept-o said, it's a completely new idea. I'll post it later.
@RedRobin92: both of these are pretty new ideas, I like em. The first has the edge for me cause the way you did the face in his chest like that is pretty cool :)
Just finished the rough blue lines for this one. I kept close to the original because there were elements I liked (the blocky gloves and all that) but I plan to change some things in the end like colors and such. Let me know what yall think.
I know it will probably get done alot but i really wanted to play up the illusioist aspect to his personality so what better way that a stage magician? Hence the suit :P
I probably won't ink or colour this but you never know!
Here's my entry that I finally finished, didn't scan the way I wanted it too, some of the colour is lost on it but I don't feel like fighting with my scanner.
lol thanks. I suppose it could work for Mags, though the helmet would have to be substituted in. Gotta keep the cue ball out of his head after all. I think I'd make some subtle changes for Magneto to wear this costume though, god knows he needs something new right!

I suspect, even with a downgrade you'll still channel the pencil like a champ though :)

LOL! considering the fact that I just killed myself twice in a row cause I'm dead tired and still kept playing I think that downgrade is already happening.
I wanted to add a little about his costume. Each eye on his shoulders, chest and in the glass helmet, move independently as well as the hooks on his arms kinda like pincers or lobster claws. Wanted to give it a creepy feel. If you are enveloped by his cape it sends you into another dimension, similar to ours but like the TV show Outer limits, everything is another alternate reality... Buahahahahaha!!!!

Thanks, glad you noticed my sense of humor. He was hired by the Prophet Camping to determine that if the end of the world wasn't on May 21, then he was hoping Mysterio could guide him and came up with Oct 21st of this year instead. Since it's Mysterio with the Magic 8 ball, how could they be wrong?

oh man, with that idea you could effectively make Mysterio the modern day Rod Sterling, that would be freaking awesome on so many genre levels to use :)

Yeah, I kinda like it myself, would make for some surreal Spidey stories. Marvel should pick up on that. : D
