I'm sorry for the late post....anyway, for this contest, I've chosen two very disturbing costumes...I dunno...it's just...blah

below are garth and dick grayson (as robin) from teen titans...I hate their first costumes...LOL

their exposed legs and undies are oh so disgusting...V(^^,)V

HAHAHAHAHAHA...

pick one and recreate their costumes....

rule:

...without! giving them pants...(or leggings or whatever...just preserve the short pants...)I dunno how you guys gonna make 'em look cool....butI hope you participate...just for the sake of this contest to move on...hahahaha....please...

Let me break the ice on this one... My official entry: Aqualad in his battle suit armour

Costume Explanation:
The Trinitonet = a mini version of the spear of Triton that can give powerful energy blast that is electrical in nature.

Horn of Aquarius = (found on his shoulder) it is a special shell that is used like a horn to summon sea creatures or allies. It can also be used as a short range sonar attack.

Net of the Neptune = an enchanted net that can increase and decrease size depending on the size of the enemy. It can also decrease the weight of the enemy once inside thus, will not carry as burden to the carrier. It is rumored to be made of the same material as Wonder Woman's magical lasso.

Crown of the Submariner = yes! a gift from the Marvel Universe! this aids the wielder to scan the sea and ocean in locating something even as small a Nemo! This can also aid in telepathic rapport with any creatures.

The other stuff:

I decided to put some battle tigershark tattoos and the scale based suit is also a weapon as it is very sharp in nature.

I didn't participate in the Wolfsbane contest since I started it. So you don't have to if you don't wanna.

Anyway, what's the deadline? Making stylish pants for Aqualad's gonna be a challenge, and I'm not sure if I'm quick enough to do Robin as well.

The pants were a bit of a challenge, because let's face it, hydrodynamics isn't easy. His ears are completely flattened, so special specs are in order. Made him more fish-like and closer to stepping into Abe Sapien's territory. The tentacles on his feet can stretch into whiplike appendages to be used for god know's what. If it's not for propulsory boost, it might be for curling up into the ball and hitting people in the gonads.

wow strong entries so far...mmm can't help think i stole most of mine from ice, but at any rate here is my aqualad:

notes-long hair(obviously), tattoos, mollusk style cod piece,atlantean armor on his wrists
further notes-outstanding work ice and man kitetsu continues to amaze with his creativity and execution

You weren't exactly clear with the proposed condition, so you got me confused. You said "no pants", but didn't say "no trousers", and "preserve the short pants" was pretty vague, because had you said something like "preserve the speedoes", I would've done just that, since I thought by "short pants" you meant "pants shorter than knee-length".

How you're going to do disqualifications is up to you. Since you haven't brought up anything about "One member, one submission, ONE TRY", I figured this means submissions can be edited before the deadline.

I really don't see what the problem with kitetsu's work is..
there is a lot of exposed leg in his drawing.. His Aqualad is only wearing flippers and some flaps over his thigh..
You can see the majority of the leg and while he isn't wearing undies, He does have on "short pants".. which was the requirement.
