Artist Show-Off Showdown #38: Homage your favorite cover

Hello Guys, for the next contest let's flex our drawing muscles and make it a bit more challenging.

We all read comics here I think, and we watch movies, play video games etc. For the next contest let's do a homage of one of your favorite comic book covers, or movie poster, or iconic image. Again, be as creative as you can and use any art medium you'd like. You can change it up, adjust it, do an ironic version of the source material... have fun!

HI, Great Choice , as they say on the cooking TV programs and Blue Peter (at least in the UK), here are a couple I've done in the past I assume this is the sort of thing you want?

Toy Story meets Reservoir Dogs

The First comic I can remember seeing is Captain marvel 19, I've modernised the cover a bit to bring it more up to date.

What if Disney took over Marvel... Ooh they did.

this one is based on the classic Superfriends Poster. With a twist ;)

A few years ago, I drew the pen and ink version of this sketch, I thought I would finally tidy up the original, add a bit of colour or as we Brits say colour and the Avengers logo, Enjoy.

(Is it just me or is anyone else having issues uploading images, I was trying to upload a JPG version, kept failing, converted it to a PNG file and it uploaded).

This was such a great choice, some great submissions! I am posting two, but I would like the Nightwing cover to be the official submission

So Here Comes DareDevil and Nightwing, enjoy! Gave Nightwing a classic DD cover, and in turn, DD got a classic Nightwing cover

@blackdog2009 Thanks you guys are really inspirational. It's interesting that even though the Wasp appears and is in the Avengers #1, she doesn't get credited on the top of the cover, I can imagine the outcry if that happened today.

I started out with a Fantastic Four cover, but wound up doing a now classic Hulk homage cover featuring Maxam, formerly of Warlock and the Infinity Watch renown. Haven't seen him since.
