Artist Show-Off Showdown #31: Pin up of a StarTrek/Star Wars team up or fight.

Ok guys so I doubt there's any of us in here that isn't a fan of Star Wars or Star Trek (though there are exceptions to everything).

Let's do a fun one here, get inventive and come up with a good Pin-Up (poster) of a team up or a fight of any Star Trek (Next Generation or Original) and Star Wars character. You want to show Spock going at it with Darth Vader, go for it. You want a romance between Princess Leia and Captain Picard, go for it! In any medium you want, paint it, hand drawn, digital, water color. Go crazy!!

Aw I wanted to make something for this, but I was too busy with school :/

@remyboy: how long do you need? I can extend the time, no problem. :)

@blackdog2009: Sorry, BD, I've hit a bit of an artistically creative wall. I thought about doing something introducing an ancestor of Surak as the Last Vulcan Jedi. Something like, "Before the great 'Time of Awakening', before logic and stoicism reigned, there was only savagery... and the Force." The concept basically merges Star Trek and Star Wars into a shared genesis -- at least for the Vulcans.

But alas, I didn't like any of my sketches. I could write this story easily, but I can't quite nail down the visuals. That happens sometimes.

Now I'm wishing I had simply gone with something like this. May the 4th be with you all.

@blackdog2009: Sadly I'm busy for the next few weeks cause of finals and graduation. Maybe I'll make a separate post in a month or so of what I would've submitted.

No worries, I got you. The New Artist Show-Off is up and running. I made it fairly broad subject-wise with a longer deadline than usual to encourage as many entries as possible. I imagine many contributors already have WIP that they can polish off and submit for the challenge.
