@proofpudding won the last round and asked for help getting the next thread started so here goes.

The subject of the 108th Showdown is...

Loki

Deadline will be midnight Sept 19th, about 2 weeks before Thor: Dark World comes out. Any medium, any setting, and any costume/era/version of Loki will do. If anyone has any questions, post them here.

I've drawn Loki before, but I'll enter this in a different style I think.

Still a work in progress. Here is one of my takes on Loki. Purposely drew his costume and horned helmet differently. May add color but thought I'd post while I could.

Yes! Indeed it is a Frost Giant.

I am coloring this piece right now and hopefully the image will appear better.
