Sorry, I missed this challenge, folks -- things got really crazy on my end travelling for the holidays. In fact, I'm still recovering from the madness. But I'm very pleased to see a number of superb, creative entries. Here's a rough sample of what I would have submitted to honor one of my favorite comic book artists, George Perez. With any luck, I should be able to participate in the next showdown.

Yeah you are right, not sure why he bothered to join in, thats the second time he has done that.

I almost thought he came back and was wondering why you mentioned that he wasnt around. Went and looked at the contest where he submitted his image for the vote and yup, he did it again.
